Yes, generally keep the ring, because a ring is a promise of marriage, and a marriage did occur, so, the ring belongs to the person you married- not you. You can ask for a ring back, only if the marriage did not occur- that is the law.

this occurs in many cases, rather if the couple is youthful and in basic terms commencing out of their lives and careers. Assuming the gap is large and the time, like college or a clean activity, is in basic terms as large, that is somewhat asking to lots, to assume the like to final. Married human beings get divorced each and all the time, and that they stay ingredient with the help of ingredient, which of direction, would desire to be the clarification for the divorce. lol different couples chop up up, love regrettably, for many persons, isn't eternal, yet in many cases fleeting. inspite of the certainty that on an analogous time as we are in love, we have confidence it to be so. all of us choose business company and companionship, and human beings on the brink persons. In long distance, you may continuously stay in touch, recently, yet you nevertheless choose some particular individual on your existence, except you need to stay at homestead, with a good e book or television and so on. no longer the terrific thank you to spend ones existence.

Simple rules, really:
1. If she breaks up with you or cheats on you, she should give it back - only exception is if you are an ***, in which case, she earned it by putting up with you for as long as she did (must be 1+ year)
2. If you break up with her or cheat on her, she keeps that ring, and you should buy her another diamond to match (on a necklace pendant), for breaking her heart, to say "sorry". No time limit on this one.

The wedding rings symbolize a sacred hoop, when it's blemished they mean nothing. I have been divorced twice and the rings mean nothing to me, but, they would mean something to both my little boys who I kept them for.

well, I would say it all depends on the circumstances why you are divorcing... did your significant other cheat on you.. if so.. I would definitely ask for the wedding ring back...
was it really expensive ??.. I would ask for it back...
I bought both my husband and my wedding ring.. so I got them both..

The ring was a gift and is not something you get back. Just let it go and forget about it and you will be much happier.
