Marriage & Divorce - 5 August 2006

I am 22 and so is my ex husband and we have not been together for about 6 months or so he gets jelous still because i have a boyfriend that I love. We even inviteed him over our house to be nice but the other night my sister told him how I got his name on my body and that pissed him off. I don't know the right words to say so I can talk to my kids and have this stuff over. I know he and his girl are over so now he is making my life hell.

I am not a woman. I am using my niece's screen name. I met this girl about 3 years ago. She was 17 at the time and desperatly wanted to move out of her father's house, she wanted to learn how to sing as well. I let her to move into my house, and I gave her voice lessons everyday for free ( I am a sucsessful musican, so I have time and energy to spare) I also completely supported herm bought her everything she needed. I also found her work. I had no expectation of a relationship, but about a year ago we started up a romantic relationship. She is now 19 and I am 49. I go away sometimes for the weekend, and have been told by certain people she had a guy over while I was gone. What should I do, should I kick her out.

You don't want to mess up their life with your health issues or the retirement they have worked years to enjoy. They have just been through a really tough divorce and have lost a whole bundle of that money they worked to retire on already.
Isn't it the kinder loving thing to tell them you love them and let them go make a life that is with someone who compliments their own wants than to hold them to staying with you knowing there will be a time when your nothing but a financial burden to them, and someone that can't go do the things with them that they always wanted to go do when they retired?

My wife and I have a good realtionship. I go and play cards with my friend sometimes. Sometimes my boy will bring his girlfriend along and she will bring her cousin along to (who is a female). Now, I am not trying to do anything with this girl. Someone told my wife that we were playing cards with females and now she want me to call her if I know they are going to be over. Should I call or should I tell AGAIN that I am not doing anything wrong and that she should trust me?

i am a single father of 2 little girls and i met this family about a year ago and we seem to get along fine for most of the time
and i ask them if they coild watch my kids ounce in a while and i would pay them 15.00 dollar a hour last week they told me they had some very serious money problem and that they had to borrow some money froma familey meber to pay rent this familey has a lot of money problem new house car payment credit card insurance and 2 kids well you get the point.well any way i call they up yesterday and ask them if they would watch my kids so i could go to a doctor appt.and they said no lol.and this morning i call them up again and ask them because i dont feel good and they said because they are going out to garage sale this morning and spending money they dont have when they could be makeing money what is wrong with people these days??? please help me

I have been to personal counciling many times in the past. Learning where my flaws and insecurities are from and how to fix them. My fiance wants to blame me when he doesnt do something and it goes undone. He says that I never let him win. I dont know what we are supposed to be competing for. He says i tell him he is not a "man". When infact i have never known a better man than him. I feel he wants: a slave, an unintelligent woman , and for me to not ever have an opinion. I am a very strong single mother of two teenagers. I have a college education and have worked since I was 13 yrs old. I take care of my mother, my siblings, my friends and my children. I have never depended on anyone in my life to take care of me. So how do i get him to understand that i can not be stupid, nieve, lazy, irresponsible, nor can i allow other people to take from me what i do not offer them.

She is in the middle of one of those dragged out divorces. She is appealing a judgement but in the time being her ex is suppossed to pay her $100,000.00. She is appealing seeking more and also a property. But the attorney recieved a check from the ex for $50,000.00 and they say the check was written to her and the firm. Although she is #37,000.00 in debt with them now, she says that is her business and is concerned the firm will cash the check, take what is due them and give her the rest. She does not want that money spent since she plans on appealing the decision. The question is, Can an attorney due money take what is due them when receiving a check on behalf of their client or must they give the entire amount to their client with the issue of what is due them being completely seperate? She is dependant on this outcome as she was a housewife and the ex earned all the money and hid it in real estate. Thankyou for all the help you can give.

my husband is a jehovas witness and im not. hes not home, he's sitting his stupid *** in jail over domestic violence.ive been doing everything from paying all the bills to helping him out. i've been thinking about someone else lately but stay because of the kids and because i dont want his family to run their mouth saying im a s.l.u.t they never liked me. but the point is i had a small birthday party for my two older sons and im buying stuff to have a small party for my baby first year.and he said it was going to be my fault that my children didnt have a spot in heaven with god because i was teaching them about birthday parties and last year i bought them christmas presents and he said the same thing.i justfeel that if i dont let my children have that when they go to school and their friends have a birthday they gonna feel bad because they never had it. and christmas i feel the same way. i just want my children to be children. am i wrong?

We have 2 children and have been married 19 years. He's told me he's not happy and wants me to be patient and us to work things out, but he doesn't really seem to be trying, or maybe I'm not anymore. am married with older kids. husband has addiction with alcohol and vicodin, but he still holds a great job and is a great father. caught him with another women (someone i know well) he says it was not an affair just had sex with 5-6 times and due to the combination of alcohol and vicodin. he loves to go out with the guys and seems to need know other woman find him attractive. we rarely have sex and i think it is because of the drugs. the drugs do not impair his work and he is home all the time now and i know where he is at when he is not at home. could he have had many others in his past and what about the future for a guy like this.

My husband had a drug addition and was in a rehab in late 2002-mid 2003. Since then he has turned his lfe around, becoming the man I always knew he could be. Today I discovered that while away he had corresponded with a "former" friend of mine on what looks to me, to be more than just a friend level. I had been suspicious of them just before he went away, but they both made it seem like I was crazy. In '03, I left him because of the drugs and filed for divorce and then met someone. Today, while cleaning, I found a old notebook he has on the shelf (not hidden at all) which contain dated poetry from 2003 all of which were to me. BUT I found her name & address w/ stars around it on an address list in the back of this book. I asked him why he had her name in this book she wrote him while he was away. I never knew this. He pleaded with me to believe him that nothing happened. He is, as a part of his recovery usually very honest, but I am so confused - I feel so betrayed - HELP

I just found out my husband was looking at a porn site called 89.com(he had like 23 pics, and 9 downloads). This bothered me because he had this issue about three years ago and promised me he would not do that again....well when the time presented itself I asked him if he is looking at porn on the computer again, and he told me NO, when just three weeks ago he was.
