Go to the city hall in a downtown area
Go to the law library and ask for the book to file for divorce yourself with 1 child
Get the book and make copy's they will show you what you need to copy. Fill out the paperwork and file in a downtown area.
Total cost if he will sign is $200.
You can't beat that

The best, fastest and most affordable way to get a divorce is to have an agreement already worked out for the attorney. Oh! Yeah, you MUST have an attorney once there is a minor child involved. I realize you only thought of material valuables and property as something to slow the process, but a child is right up there in the number one slot. And for a good reason.

The courts have to determine the child support obligation for both parties. Even though she is living with you, your income is still considered in the computing process to determine what you can afford. Your "support" will be used while the child is living with you, i,e., cost to house, clothe, feed, ect...

That is why the first thing you and your husband should do is complete a financial affidavit This is the part where most husbands lie on, but he is not cheating you, he is cheating his child. It sounds like you two can come to an amicable settlement to present to an attorney.

Since you are both using the same attorney, you can share costs and that makes if less costly to you. I know you wanted a website to free forms or do it yourself quickie divorce. Isn't it worth it to do it right for the sake of your child? In most states you can call the attorney bar association to get a referral in your area. When you call for an appointment, mention the referral and you usually get either the first appointment free or a reduced cost with no obligation. That saves you $ome there.

Wish you and your family the best.

P.S. Just a thought, don't be fooled or mislead by a NO-FAULT divorce. That is meant for people with NO CHILDREN or property, etc...

Go to local court house. They can give you all the paper work. You both fill out paperwork (unrecognizable differences) and turn it in with a check to court house and wait for a date. You'll get a paper in the mail that says the date you both need to show up on. You and a bunch of other people will each get a turn to speak with the judge. Mutual divorce. Bing, Bang it's easy as that. I didn't realize you have a daughter together. I'm not to sure now how that is going to work. I Would get a lawyer. You gonna want him to have death insurance and pay toward a savings for her college.

Several ways - if it is uncontested with joint custody, there is really no problem. You can either get the forms from the court and fill them up yourself or purchase a kit online. Legal Zoom has the kit for $299 and they have a bunch of questions that you have to answer and they will fill all the papers and mail them to you. all you will have to do is sign and file them in the court, with the filing fees.

Wel you can do an uncontested divorce for around 500 in most states but you have the custody issue.. and that goes through family court.. that can range in costs depending on the chiilds age.. You should call your local legal aide office or contact the county courthouse.

I wish I could remember what the guy was called that I went to. I looked in the phone book and found a guy, like a divorce lawyer, to take care of it. Basically, all he did was get info from me, and type it all up legally. I didn't have to pay him much, and then just had to file it downtown. Sorry I can't remember what he's technically called, but it should be in the phone book. Good luck.
