I met this friend through a friend at the bowling alley one night. We exchanged and conversated, hung out, and eventually began having sex. We had both just recently gotten out of a relationship and weren't looking for anyone at the time. Now, I've fallen hard for him 9 months later. He says that we'll be together soon, but to hold on because he doesn't want to enter a relationship with baggage from his past relationship. I've been waiting for 9 months, being faithful and doing everything with him as if we are already together, but is this just a front to keep me or is he sincere in getting himself ready for a new relationship. I care about him and would like to wait on him, but I don't want to play anyone's fool. HELP!!!

just about everything I'd ever done wrong in our history. Now she's walked out and slammed the door. Do you think she'll be back? Is she really going to leave me this time?

after our 3 kids my wifes has put on some major weight...for the past 3 yrs every b-day, annversery, and christmas i buy her work out gear and richard simmons videos. she never gets the hint. so i pass a few to her..for example when we go out to eat she eats 2 full plates of food. so i tell her all the time hey fatty good thing they do not charge us by the plate here, since u can inhale food so well do you also do floors, you can leave the table hungry we eat again tomorrow, we pay double for ur clothes since we order them for two, ur blocking my sun, u make a better garage door than a window, i can actually charge for my own shamu show, or leave some for the rest of us we are hungry to. i even helped her get invovlved into jogging. by tieng a rope around her waist to the back of the 4 wheeler.postive coaching her by saying either we will burn it off or the road will scrape it off.its a win-win situation. if think if things go on, she will ended using our wood house as a tooth pick

Everytime we fight my husband just says he wants to call up My parents and complain. I tell him its too childish but he says i have false ego and thats why i dont share anything with my parents!!
Am sure all women will agree...no women would like to share her difficulties with anybody else..specially family matters...al women out there? Wont you agree? Would you share every tiny little thing with your parents!! Its ridiculous i mean...we are not kids now and every family has its INTEGRITY ...which should not be broken outside.
Do i really have false ego there?

I went with my previous girlfriend for 5 years then she dumped me for someone else before I could give it to her. We went together through my senior year of high school and all four years of my college. I have gone with my current girlfriend for 1.5 years. My current girlfriend knows I had given my former girlfriend a promise ring but she does not know I bought her an engagement ring. Would like to give my current girlfriend the ring I bought for my former girlfriend. It is a very, very nice diamond solitaire. I would have it reset before I give it to her. I took my current girlfriend to look at rings then my mother suggested I give my current girlfriend the ring I currently have and save money.

To a degree everybody flirts. I'd be interested to know which, people find more offensive, flirting in front of your spouse, or only when not with spouse. Here's my thinking. My flirting is completely innocent, no ulterior motives (honestly) so I do it in front of my wife so that she can see how benign it is, obviously not trying to get the hook up with her there. Isn't it more decietful and secretive to only act a certain way with the opposite sex if your spouse isn't there? What do you think? (Please no holier than thou responses)

my husband is deployed to iraq. incicentally he cheated on me on his way over there after r and r. tells me he is sorry, would do anything to make it work, and keeps trying to talk me into staying with him...repeatedly and annoyingly. i have told him when he gets back i want a seperation and he is due back in less than two months. he just doesn't get the picture that i want to be left alone, and i don't know how to get across to him in a way that he will actually believe i am serious. this has happened before and i left, but stupid me came back. and the hard thing about it is we have two kids together. so he has to be a part of my life, forever....as their father and my ex...i can handle that, but he can't. he says he refuses to let me go, and of course he isn't gonna help me with anything, so......i'd like to know what some of you think about it thanx

We married for about 1.5 years (my first, her second) and are just now finalizing the divorce. We knew each other for almost 2 years before getting married. The marriage was a disaster with a lot of fighting.

Anyway, one of my goals in life has been to find happiness with the right woman and have kids of my own. Now, I find my dreams shattered and am not sure that a woman (who could have more children) would be attracted to a 40 y/o male. I have some good qualities including a decent job and a house. I would also be happy being a step-dad, but really want one or two kids of my own with the right person. Is there hope?

PS - No mail-order bride suggestions please!! That's not for me.

And vice versa. Both women and men are prone to appreciate the distance perhaps.

If 50% of marriages in this country fail, then that implies that the other 50% of marriages succeed. However, there are alot of married couples who don't (& won't) divorce but are miserable and unhappy. Is the definition of a successful marriage only based on the fact that it's still held together by a piece of paper? What do you think a successful marriage is?

I have been married for 9 years, and i am happily married & i think he is to he tells me how much he loves me everyday and i really feel he is as happy as i am, he shows me off to all his friends and we go out often together. But I have found out that when i am either at work or asleep late at night he is always watching Porn sites, I went thru his credit card bill and found out he is paying $6.00 monthly for one site, Now is this bad. I feel like he is being unfaithful to me, but then i think i have to be open minded and realize that it's Ok he is a man after all. Sexually we have a great relatioship he satisfies me often and i do the same for him neither one of us has a problem satisfying the other, I have asked him why he looks @ these sites and he doesn't say anything he just smiles & tells me how much he loves me. SO GUYS why do you do that. Do you think i don't satisfy him & thats why or is it something that guys just do. He does this every, every day. Please tell me why????

We have been married for 16 years, things have been okay but could be alot better, maybe he just did what I've been wanting to do. We both love each other and since all this has happened and the possibility of breaking up, it has made us closer but I can't help but think about it all the time. I found myself looking up phone numbers of old boyfriends and flirting, I feel better when I do this.

me and my husband met through working together. There's this girl that works there and before we got together he said he had a "thing" for her. Well that doesn't feel good but what makes it worse is that now that i don't work there she is saying comments to him. For example "thats not what you were saying last night in my bed" or telling the other coworkers they'll (my husband and her) will be right back becuz theyre going to have sex. and one time when i went into eat there (he works as a resturant manager) i over heard her saying "did you tell her yet? that you're leaving her for me?" i know she's kidding and he's joking around and i talked to him about it but he said i shouldn't worry and he tells her all the time that me and him are together! WHAT SHOULD I DO? WHAT SHOULD I TELL HIM OR HER.?? please help i hate crying over this! thanks <33
