My family doctor told me today that, at my age and maturity that I should not be looking at together forever anymore, I should thinking about just being together for a short time. I believe in happily ever after and I still believe in loving with all my heart. So I put it to you out there. What do you think??

We've been married about two years. He had a difficult time adjusting when we had our son. He missed his old life and blamed me for everything. We fought all the time and he drank all the time. He is in college and he developed a "crush". I found out because he was looking her up on the internet and calling her. When I asked him about it, he admitted that he seeked her out because I made him feel so bad about himself that it was nice to have someone to make him feel better. She was an "escape". I know he did not cheat, but only because this girl is very serious about her boyfriend. Since I found out he's been a perfect husband.

Im 24yr girl who comes from a traditional catholic family. It turns out that im the 2% birth control did not work for. I am 7-9 weeks pregant and my family wants me to get married. My b/f and I care for eachother a whole lot, and we are moving in with eachother. The thing is he starts medical school in 1 month, and I dont want to rush.Since I have been a little girl I have dreamed of my wedding. I want to get married when we have the money and the time to plan. The last worry we should have is getting married, we need to be planning for our baby and for the both of us to finish school. Its way too much coming at us all at once, and our familes are throwing more at us. I think my family is embrassed b/c im pregant and not married. I hate to hurt my family, I proably should get married so I can make them happy.

Guy friends of mine who are married say that their wives don't like to have sex as much as they did before marriage. I've heard the same thing from married women. This is featured alot on TV too... Is it really true? If so, why could this be? Will it likely happen to me too if I get married?

My husbands mother used to lie to him and tell me the truth. Maybe I shouldn't have, but I always told him what she said. He didn't believe me until he caught her lying to him then started taking it out on me, blaming me, etc. One day we were fighting about it and she came over and got in the middle. Since then he hasn't talked to her - I still do for the sake of our children. He has let up on me a real lot, but still says he cannot trust another woman and has not been happy since. He says he wants to "move past it" but doesn't know how and asked me for suggestions. He went to counseling, but says they don't give him any answers so he will not spend money on it. We both feel he cannot get closure from his mother because she won't be honest. Personally I feel if I got past the way he treated me over her then. . .and that we made it through should have brought us closer - he should be turning to me instead of away. Any advice I can give him would be greatly appreciated

I'm American 43 and never married. My fiance is Asian and 33 and never married. We have lived together for 4 years. We both enjoy being together but have seperate groups of friends and interests. Sex life has slowed down but OK.

I often travel to Asia on business for a month or more and sometimes have casual relationships with other women. I've told my fiance that I'm no angel on the road. She said it's OK as long as I'm carful.

I asked her to marry me recently. I've thought about it a long time and decided I do want to have a kid since everyone says its so great. She has always wanted one. I plan to continue to have outside women and, again, she said OK. Big wedding in the works.

It seems the perfect European solution - home, wife, kids, mistriss but my American holywood cultural background says this is not going to work.
Question - Can one have it all? Can I get married, have kids, fool around a little?

Or should I just break it off and be single?

I am a 37 year old male who was born with Spinal Bifida. I've had my right leg amputated at 10 yrs. of age , then My left leg was broken beyond repair at 15. I am resigned to a chair for life. My mother told me to make up for what I lost in the physycal, with personality. I have done this and every since, my personality attacts people. Men and Women alike . NOW - I am married , My first marrige. I am married to a woman who has been hurt emotionally in 2 failed marriges and has trust issues. She knows that I am true to her but she feels that she is not enough for me due to the fact that I like the attention that I get from women. My question is this- Is it wrong for me to remain the way that I have always been, ( highly personable ). Or, should my wife understand that she's been hurt and should trust in the fact that I DO love her and am true to her and that MAYBE her past effects the way she sees things now and should be more trusting of ME? or is IT ME?

my best friend just asked me for advice and I don't know what to tell her....she's getting married next march and her and her fiance' just found out that his wages are about to be garnished b/c of something that happened back in 2000. She is very upset and questioning whether or not she wants to marry him b/c she says she doesn't want to suffer. Keep in mind that this guy had been working for years to get himself out of debt on minimum wage. He thought he was done and then all of a sudden he gets this notice in the mail. Also they have been together for about 7 years. What should I tell her?

Who'd rather eat the yummy dinner that she cooks, watch t.v. on the recliner instead than eat with her at a table and listen to her blah-blah-blah stay-at-home mom boring life? If she didn't b@#%* so much about my lack of interest in her, well, ........ maybe I'd grace her w/ my presence....I dunno.

I love him so much, I am stuck. He is moving on with no problem and that is the last thing I want. We have joint custody of our girls. One week after recieving my papers I tried to commit suicude. That was also before rehab. I know he was planning this and has had more time to adjust and he basically has washed his hand of this. Actually he washed his hands right at the beginning. I never have gotten an opportunity to have a discussion with him with, whys, whens, and hows. We have always been with God, well of course I wasnt when I was behaving like a fool, but I have grown so much spiritually, (that's what keeps me going at the times when I feel I'm completely losing it again. I have faith, and really belief it was meant for me to go through with and to be for my good. He has a lot of bitterness towards me and says we will never be together again. In my heart I know we could so happy. I I'm not expecting miracles 2 day. Is my heart crazy. He is a great man. I am lost. HELP??????

Ok, here is the deal. My boyfriend is married. Now don't think that I'm a home wrecker or anything, cause I'm not. He is a good friend from high school. Him and his wife were dating and she got pregnant, and they ended up getting married. Well, she never could keep a relationship, so less than 2 years after they were married she had left him twice and ended up pregnant by someone else and then left him. He has been taking care of his son by himself for over 2 years now. We started dating 6 months ago after my daughter was born, which is not his, just to verify. Anyway, he has been trying to get a divorce and the state of Iowa won't give him one unless they go to marriage counseling. There is absolutely no way they would ever get back together. She just had her second child with her current boyfriend, which brings her up to 4 kids now. What kind of advice can I give him to help him figure out what to do? I'm stumped. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
