Her boyfriend needs to see a lawyer. If he can't find one, go to a social worker who can find someone pro-bono (free). He should contest the garnishment because sometimes they are not necessary or legal. If she loves him, she will work with him through this problem. Sounds like a nice guy.

I went through that about 4 years ago, but I was the one that owed the debt. This was a debt from 1996 (before we married) and he did not know about it. The court put a lien on our bank account and took the money. The timing was horrible (we had just sent in all our bills). My hubby (upset) stuck by me and just helped me pay off the debt. I think that she should stick by him, and find out if he gets married and has more expenses, will they garnish less money from him?

Tell her she doesn't deserve a hard-working man who's made financial stability a priority. If she says she doesn't want to "suffer" because his wages are getting garnished, then she's a greedy girl and you should tell her to give the ring back and let that guy go find a NICE girl who's interested in more than money!

Why should she even question her decision now if she loves him ? are money more important than love? She should be there for him and help him pay his debts.A commitment should mean being there for the person you love in both their good and bad times. If she really loves him, this shouldn't even be an issue...the thought of losing him should hurt more than the one of suffering over raising money to pay a debt.

Everybody has difficult times, and if all she cares about is the money then that means she doesn't really love him. Obviously the guy is trying to fix his mistakes, so she should applaud him for that. If she is questioning it then maybe it isn't right. Good luck.

It sounds terrible yet i comprehend for a fact that they each and every so often gossip approximately one yet another. the two way is say I unquestionably have some acquaintances who're the two honest climate acquaintances and a few who're like sisters to me.

Tell her she is extremely shallow. Tell her if money is an issue......she really wasn't truly in love. What a waste of 7 years.

If she refuses to marry him because of money issues...then she shouldnt be marrying him all all. If you dont love some one when u marry them that marriage will be doomed to fail
