Marriage & Divorce - 22 June 2006

My wife needs to leave our house at 7:30 to be at work at 8:00. She doesn't want up until no early than 6:50 and then I have to fight with her to get her butt out of bed. I am a teacher and have the summer off, but am up at 6:00, and showered and dressed by 6:30. Any ideas on how I can get her up with out fighting with her every single morning.

briefly i quareled with my wife now caz i said i will block one user name on her mail he is man and caz i am jelous and she has no conection with him at all just its on net site that u recive invetation from ppl u dont know them and she doesnt know him at all ,but she said why to block him if he will send anopther messege we will block him.
am i wrong or what ?is this deserv that she leave me alone and be angery with me and shout to me ?

i am in a loveless marriage, and i dunno why i m still here. i guess am scared ppl will think that i am a loser. And now i guess i have fallen for another man. we worked on community project and had very little social time together. he's a great guy, very caring. i like him a lot, he's intelligent and very simple. and i know he likes me too...i have caught him looking at me with eyes that touches my soul. u know when he looks at me that way, i feel like i got a bear hug...very comforting. sometime last year, my feelings became stronger, we have never been physical, but i feel so connected to him. i knew i had to get hold of myself and dropped out of theproject. i juz wanted to put some distance. i thot that if he was out of sight, feeling wud go away. so wrong. i juz can't get him out of my mind. i thot i was infatuated but now, i am really scared. i can't get him out of my mind. neverbeen alone with him, nothing physical. when our eyes meet i melt. am so tempted to seek him out..

I have been married to a woman that I met when I was 20 and she was 35 and after 20 years, I’ve been thinking we’re overdue for a divorce.

I am generally a happy person and an optimist - my Wife, a negative person and a pessimist. For the first 10 years I ignored our differences and the 2nd 10 fought hard to hold our marriage together, but have now realize I was the only one fighting for it. I have suggested counseling numerous time... she refused, not wanting to 'tell strangers our problems'.

Is it wrong to need to be loved, desired and wanted from your Wife? It feels more like she tolerates me than loves me. Everything I do is an annoyance to her. I am a romantic - I want to hold her but when I come up from behind to hold her and kiss her neck, she shrugs me off like I am bothering her. I bought games that promote romantic discussion and foreplay. She either won't play them or does so half-heartedly. Our 'sex life' is about the same...

I feel for the most part that if your spouse has trust issues that the real reason for their trust issue is because they have had thoughts of doing something wrong , so they feel like the other must have as well. Not in all cases mind you some are because they have been given reason to not trust. Its the ones that have not been given reason that I am talking about. Agree or dissagree and why?

I feel really bad for something I have done. My husband left his email open one day and I went into and read some emails. One of the emails was from another woman and although she was a friend, he said some things that made me feel bad.Things like how he missed his old life and missed the bar scene and his buddies. To me it seemed like a intimate and personal conversation and I do feel bad for having read it although it did make me feel sad that he felt that way and couldn;t talk to me about it. I am not condoning what I did, it was wrong to invade his privacy like that. I posed a question about email passwords earlier and I wanted to be honest about why I asked the question., I do want to clarify though that I did read his email because he was so secretive about his compter use and chatting. So, in short, I was wrong and am sorry for not being honest to begin with.

I am freaking out. I have been employed at a Catholic School for 7 years as a 5th grade teacher and I love it. I have been engaged to my wonderful fiance for a year and a half. When I recently told my principal I was getting married she told me I would be fired. (My fiance has been divorced and cannot marry in a Catholic church until it is anulled, so we were just going to get married in a beautiful Christian church--which I prefer, actually) But she said if I am not married in the catholic church, I am "not modeling catholic beliefs" and would be fired. First of all, this is 2006 in AMERICA, for pete's sake, but all the dogma aside--I want to get married AND I want to keep my job.... What should I do? The anullment process for our situation would take about 2 years. I DO NOT want to put my life on hold that long. I am 32!
