I think the reason for their trust issue, is that they have had some events in childhood. Maybe some person whom should have been there for them were distrustful or something. What people with trust issues need is caring and understanding. Assurance that you are trustworthy. Not the opposite.
This isn't even hard to try out.

It would depend.
If the spouse was by nature naturally suspicious and distrustful, then that wouldn't be an accurate measure of their "guilt" at all. But if a person was normally open and trusting and suddenly became very distrustful I'd either think they were cheating or possibly having nervous breakdown!

i think that often those with trust issues are those who have been badly burned on the past
that doesnt mean they are seeking 'revenge' by screwing someone else over like they have been done themselves - it just means they are trying to protect themselves from being hurt again in a new situation
trust can be rebuilt in a persons life - but it takes time and patience and a lot of it.

I don't trust anyone, but I have never once screwed someone over. My reasons for not trusting are my own, but mainly it is because I got sick of letting people take advantage of me.

I wouldn't agree and disagree but I have my point....
Men couldn't trust women is common as they couldn't trust theirselves so how could you expect him to trust others. Secondly, men cheat alot so they are worried their wife will cheat too.....Basically men have no confidence in themselves so that loses the trust.

I agree, I think you have to trust yourself before you can trust anyone else!
