My wife needs to leave our house at 7:30 to be at work at 8:00. She doesn't want up until no early than 6:50 and then I have to fight with her to get her butt out of bed. I am a teacher and have the summer off, but am up at 6:00, and showered and dressed by 6:30. Any ideas on how I can get her up with out fighting with her every single morning.

Quit helping. Its her responsibility to wake up. Double check that her alarm is set when you get up, then just leave her alone. What you are doing is called inabling. As long as you keep helping, she'll keep letting you. Once she realizes its all on her (like any adult should), then she'll get up and out on time or be late. Enough times being late and she'll be fired. Let her be responsible for herself. She is a grown woman and its high time she figures out how to do these basic functions by herself. If she complains at you, just tell her you are tired of fighting with her every morning and don't like to start the day on a sour note. And if she's late, don't let her blame you. She chose her bedtime, she chose that job, she chose to get up late. Its not your fault! If you want, have breakfast ready for her so she knows you care. But let her figure out how to get up. It will help you both!

I think your wife is night person..and that how she gonna be no matter what you want her to be.. atleast she is working.. You both are different person, if she really wanna gets early, she would do it.. why fight for it...
you are just getting stressed out of it..
I understand how it is frustrating for you and it is also frustrating to other person getting up when she doesn't feel too.. she is not a kid anymore, but if she gets up and you shower and dress her up, i think that is a big problem...

Set the alarm for her a half hour earlier then and kiss her to wake her up or since you get up so early make her a cup of coffee and tak e it to her in bed with a snack to wake her up. This may do the trick. Be patient with her and do nice things to try and wake her up.
