All my friends have stop coming over to visit because of my eight year old stepson is rude, obnoxious, whines consistently like a baby and his dad gives in to him. When my husband and I met it was just the two of us. We had all kinds of friends and would have get togethers every weekend either at our house or at a friends house. Now my eight year old stepson lives with us because his mother decided she couldn't handle him any more and all of our friends have stop coming to our house or haven't invited us to theirs in quite some time. The boy is rude to our friends, says very mean things and acts like a baby if he doesn't get his way. I don't know what to do anymore? Any suggestions?

I called my mother to let her know that I was almost murdered by my roommate because she pulled a knife on me, & my mother over-talked me, just to gossip about her landlord. Now what if I was dead?

My sister is the type of girl that thinks everything she does it "perfect" and never sees her own flaws. Lately, she has been very negative towards me and even my younger sister. She is the oldest, then is me and then is my younger sister. (22, 21 and 20 yrs old) She is always quick to point out our flaws and throw them in our faces yet, if we tell her something, she gets mad at us and criticizes us even more. What's her problem??? Is there anyway to stop her madness?

Her brother has three children and is dying of lukemia, but his sister refuses to donate her bone marrow. She is also a perfect match. I think she is a prime example of trash.

I have a 2 month old son born January 10 2007. I was with the babys father for the past year. On March 10th we got into an argument and it got serious - I went to jail for domestic violence, pled guilty. I have been in councling since February. I have been on meds and suffering from post partum depression. He clearly dosen't want to work things out with me. He says I haven't made him happy and he says I am not happy with him, YET I AM. He wants "joint-custody" and he thinks he will get the baby every other night, or he gets him 5 days then i get him 5 days. My baby boy is only 2 months old! Should he be away from his mother? I have told him that he would never see his child again becuase I was mad he didn't want to work things out. I know it was wrong but I am depressed and more depressed becuase I lost the love of my life, who is my childs father. I am afraid that if the judge says he can see him every weekend he will want to work things out then. WHAT CAN HAPPEN? HE HAS A LAYWER

Do the children share things from their lunch boxes? Do they take drinks with them, or buy them?

What are favourite desserts?

My sister was being a ***** to me this morning so I decided to get her back since i couldn't do anything else.. When she was eating her cereal this morning she left for a sec to get a spoon and when she was gone I took some Orajel (Gum number) and put it in her cereal. It was hilarious!! Cause she took a huge spoonful and couldn't talk and she tried to tell our parents but they couldn't understand what she was trying to say and I was on the floor laughing the whole time. And she deserved it anyway since she threw a can of fricken hairspray at me. and usualy im not the type of person to do this but I was really getting sick of it and her being rude. Do you think it was too mean? I know it was funny cause after she took a huge spoonful she started spitting it out and her mouth was numb for at least 20 minutes since she took so much.
Ooopsies.

My mom, me and my friend were on our way out of the house and I went to the bathroom and then all of a sudden my Mom freakes out and starts yelling because I wasn't in the car yet! Then other times I'll say "I'm board" And she'll be like "well if you're so board then clean my kitchen or give your sister a bath" And I'll say "um, not thanks" And then she'll walk away and mumble "thanks, thanks a lot" And she gives me guilt trips and it's really making me feel bad, but I just don't know what to do. I can't talk to her (trust me, I've tried) She gets upset and says "well, if your lifes is so bad then why don't I show you how bad it could really be" And then she doesn't talk to me for the rest of the day! Please, any advice helps!

I am dating this guy on the internet and we have met once and my parents didn't know about it because i lied and said i was doing something else. Well they know of him now but not that we met and they have been threatening me with taking the internet away now alot like for the dumbest things. Like i didn't want to drive her somewhere and she said ok you are about 3 seconds away from being done with the computer. It really scares me because I want to be with again. Just today she wanted me to work becuase someone called in sick for their shift and i didnt want to and she says, "You are 19 and you need to start acting like it!" I can't get away with lying this time about meeting him so I was wondering what to do. He isn't crazy I met him before i know he is a great guy. I don't know what to say to them I don't want to lose him.

if you had an illness/disease which can't be passed on to anyone else, but only genetically, which means your kids will carry the defective gene. you know that one day (if you have children) that they might have the same illness as you, but you dont know if it will be worse or lighter. you can do everything normally, and even produce a child like a normal person.

would you still have children, knowing that they will also be ill like you? would you want to bring a child into this world who might lead a difficult life, and suffer at times and not being able to keep up with other children at school/life?

the severity of the illness is on the scale of 3/10.

mature/serious answers please

I'm a single parent of an tween-ager, who's an only child, a good student and a avid reader. I consider her a good child, but I need help with dealing with the uprising attitude of talking back, deep sighing and the looks that express "this woman has lost her mind", that I'm beginning to experience. I know she's going through the harmonal changes physically and emotionally. I need advice on how to deal with this without reacting on whim! I'm mommy and will not give up the role just to be her "friend". FYI: Her dad is very active in her life also.

My younger brother keeps asking if he can join my gym & work out with me in the mornings before I go to work & he goes to school. I've putting him off because I know we will both have to shower together after our work out, and sometimes I use the steamroom (both done naked of course). Should I let being naked in front of my brother bother me?
I'm 24, my younger brother is 20. The showers at the gym are communal (1 room, 8 shower heads, no partitians) I'm sure he knows the showering situation, yet he still asks. Should I take it as a sign he's okay with it, and therefore I should be okay with it also? Anybody else been in that same situation?

my family (19 kids, me and my pregnant [with twins] wife) lives in a 8 bedroom (plus attic turned bedroom, so like a 9 bedroom) farmhouse. lately my wife and i have been thinking about adding on a barn. we own a dog, and we think chickens, a few more animals (my daughters would want a horse). would be a nice addition to the family. we haven't mentioned it to the kids yet because the moment we do we won't here the end of it until we build one. so we're trying to decide first. do you think it's a good idea?
