I have a half brother & sister who I'm freindly to and talk to when my mum's not home (there from my dad's side) and my dad keeps trying to persuade her to let them stay for a holiday.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to convince her?

just tell your mum that you have been talking with your half sister and brother and would like them to come visit on holiday! i hope everything works out!

You must remember, that these are your father's children by another woman, now this may be painful to your mom. So you need to respect her wishes, Your father has a lot of nerve trying to persuade your mom to have them over on holidays. Now if your father is still with your mom, then may be he wants to spend some time with his kids, this is understandable, now if your father is not staying with your mom, she does not have to have the kids their. And I think you can understand that. dad should take you all on vacation, so you all can be together! It is not your mom's responsibility!
