I called my mother to let her know that I was almost murdered by my roommate because she pulled a knife on me, & my mother over-talked me, just to gossip about her landlord. Now what if I was dead?

hmm maybe your mother has her own stuff going on , but u should ask her if there is any reason why she cant listen when you feel scared, and your hurting. If she does that again as in starting to talk about her issues.. I would say I am sorry you had a bad day mom but i have some issues I need to discuss with you and when u have some time to hear me out why not give me a call and hang up. Leave the door open for her to decide where to go from there. Sorry about your bad experience by the way.

My mother is like that too. Uggg. Maybe she didn't realize the seriousness, maybe she thought you were exaggerating. Who knows? I don't go to my mother when I need that kind of support. Maybe there is someone else you can confide in?

That is pretty selfish, most mothers would be horrified at the thought of their child being in that situation. I am glad you are still around. God bless!

finally a question in this i for my area % to respond to. Do you think of of she is familiar with how babby is shaped? i bypass to wager the babby learn how to frigth back - there are 14 of them. Oh - 14 babby against a million instain mom! My pary could be with instain mom at that element. My pary are with tax payers.

As to your room-mate I'd be out looking for another place to live rather than putting time into Y!A.

maybe your mom is worried about you being away from home as it is and since she knew you were obviously all right tried to swerve hearing the details which would make her worry more. Its not something i could do, but you know your mom better than anyone,

I can't tell if she is selfish, but she certainly sounds self-centered and uncaring. It is hard for me to imagine anyone being so uncaring.
