How can i deal with a controlling, packrat mother? Our house hasn't been liveable in like 10 years. No one can live in harmony like this when theres only room for one person with the amount of clutter. My brother went to college far away and pretty much never came back. I am in college now too, but things there have not worked out for me and now im going to be commuting, from home! My mom says if I move out she will not pay for college and will take my car away (its in her name). And I don't have enough money to support myself. How can I deal with this? I just wish I had a mom that loved me, not JUNK.

Well, my problem is that i have been chatting to a man who is aged 26 years old, and me i am 13, we have been chatting thorugh yahoo messenger, well my mom doesn't like it but me i love chatting wth him, he is really cool, understanding, i really like him!!! I have a sister and i hate her, she always tells my mom that i talk to that boy romantically or whatever, but it is not true, really not true, we are just friends and the fact is that my mom believes her. Now from that day, my mom always gets angry with me for nothing, she takes me like a *****, and i really hate it, please tell me what should i do? Please help me, please!!!

My mom is a packrat adn won't let me get rid of anything, I feel so trapped because there is just so much stuff there is not enough room for me. My mom says If i leave she will stop paying for my car and college. I can't live like this, but I need a college education. I feel so trapped. All this clutter is making me so depressed I can't move around the house let alone have anyone over! What can I do? I jsut made the stupidest decision of my life by deciding to comute this semester! Im just trapped, there is no place for me.

My own mother separated recently after 31 years of marriage and this will be her first x-mas without her husband. I could leave on the 26th to be with my fiancee but my mother-in-law could pass away at any given moment and I want to be there for her. My instinct is to go on the 22nd but my mother is crushed that I wouldn't be spending x-mas with her. She has got lots of family to spend x-mas with on the other hand. Should I go on the 22nd or 26th? I am flying from YOW or YUL to BHX. THANK a bunch!

My daughter is 11 yrs old and she and my neice 13 yr old neice go swimming every day in the backyard. I came home early from work yesterday and I looked out of the window and to my surprise they were making out. Now I didn't want to seem like a loon to come running out of the house in an uproar but they were definately rounding 2nd base at the time. Here lately I've also notice some cigarette butts out by the pool deck. Should I be concerned now becuase after the pool the girls shower together? My ex-wife says to leave the matter alone, its not for me to get involved. Should I let my sister know about the things that are going on with her daughter? My neice is usually a very nice girl and she and my daughter have always been best friends and I would hate to ruin any thing.

i get tired when i came back from uni and cant even cook or spend time with my huband...
he does feelin down when i refused him..

I'm a 29 year-old woman (pregnant at the moment), married to a wonderful husband and am currently living abroad. I have a crazy mother who's here right now to help me at this time and to forget her troubles with my father (who had a one-night stand w/ a hooker 3 years ago). The problem is, she continues to talk about the problem until now, eventhough my father didn't leave us and continues to support our family and tries to change his "ways" (read: being a bit frisky). She and my dad already went to counseling and she's taking medicine for the pain and depression. Here's the trick: she sometimes refuses to take the medication because she wants to "remember" the hurt so she feels "alive". She recently got jealous of the household help, because my father was getting "touchy feely" with her, but my crazy mom refuses to fire the maid! And to top it all off, she blames us (her children) of not being able to "change our father's ways". Now, I refuse to speak to her. Is this okay?

My son father and I are not together, not married, not living together. As I am not a very organised person, I still haven't got Mum and Dads Xmas pressie. Any advice? The're both in their late 60's. Does it bother anyone else to read the abbreviated words on line. example - ne wayz I prolly m gettin' older. I can't think of most I've seen but it makes for hard reading trying to deciper what the word is suppose to be.

ok. my family in philadelphia are coming over here to FL for christmas break. and the onlii thing is that they dont want tos pend christmas at our house! they rather stay in a hotel. and my feelings at this moment are "ouch. why dont they wanna spend it with us, the whole point of them coming to FLORIDA is to spend christmas with US!" no wht i mean? so ne wayz. they will prolly stay at DISNEY. in a hotel. but im still trying to convince them to drive to our house first and spend christmas with us, then afterwards they can do their own thing in disney. what should i do? i want them to stay with us for christmas.ne ideas of how i can get them to??!
