Family - December 2006

Just wondering if i am the onle lone parent on here ? I'm 'old' father of 13 year boy...just curious as to whether anymore single parents hovering round the world ;)

Okay, this is alot to say but I really need some advice!!!
im really stresses out because im not working and i live with my grandmother and my boyfriend. I dont have my licence and neather dose my boyfriend so, my grandmother has to bring my boyfriend to work everyday and he has to pay her 15.00 every week for gas money. Before me and my boyfriend got together i was working untill they cut my hours dramaticly and i had to quit. now i stay at home doing nothing. I have a car but insurance is through the roof and there is a small chance that I can't get it insured. I want to work so bad but i cant seem to find a job or nobody wants to hire me. Im not sure what I want do do for a career, i just feel so lost and depressed, no hope from my parents they don't want to help me, mom is married to a pedophile, dads living with his 12th wife in south beach and has nothing to do with me or my 2 brothers (by diffrent moms) if you were in my situation what would you do

she is not ugly and fat but she is hopless.i dont know what to do.i try to talk to her but she is angry about herself.she is a good student in the school and has many tallents but she feels just about her face and her apperance.

I'm 14 and most kids my age don't want to hang out with their parents. But b/c i don't live with my dad,were more like friends anyway. We really don't but-heads about a lot of stuff and have many similar interests. i just want to nkow i could hang out with him or spend more time with him.

It affects the whole household. My bro. has health problems & my mom. The situation is she's no good 4 my bro. ie: no Dr. appts, won't help clean up, can't even say "hi" to Moms when she walks past. Etc, Etc.

All probs started when my husband had to leave immedietly abroad for office work due to lack of leaves and i was alone in his house with fil.We never got along well,there was some tension,which i cud sense and being a new bride,i was trying to impress and all.The thing is now one year of marriage is over and iam staying with husband.Fil is staying alone at my husbands hometown, as my bil is also working someother place.My husband is always concerned that his dad is alone now, i understand this, the thing is my fil always tries to always irritate me by actions or words purposefully coz he knows i am not smart enuff to stand up for myself and my husband always feels the most uncomfortable and not willing to stand up for me, i have to argue,fight with him,until he agrees to say a few golden words for me to his father.i slowly started speaking my mind out to fil,not in a rude way,but firm.but after that in private, my hubby make me feel guilty abt what i spoke.i feelguilty though idid rite

Yesterday night i saw my husband's computer he had atleast 50 different females photos... most of them r nude.. he says he does not have 10 min over the weekend to go out with me and my little one for grocery shopping.. in those 10 min he would like to check his mails etc... on weekdays he is always away for work we get to meet him once a week.. when he is at home over the weekend and me and my little one is with him he watches t.v all the time.. but when we go for grocery he says that he has lots of work and he cannot accompnay us... he also says it is a virus problem on his computer that he dont know how the those dirty photos have come to his messenger and mail box.. or to computer Please help me i am confused... The problem is we r on dependent visa.. i mean i cannot work legally in US but we r legal in US because he works here... and my little one was born here... I dont know driving...so he takes advantage.. in chilling cold he ask me and my little one to walk down to grocery

My parents made me REALLY angry right now. They NOW decided that we are going to travel to a ****** country and i'm gonna miss new year's eve and they ruined my holiday plans! After having done plans with my friends for this new year and being really exited, my parents came up with this shitty news. I have a test tomorrow and i can't concentrate because of this problem! My sister in law is one of the most inconsiderate people i know.She causes trouble every chance she gets and then comes out smelling like a rose.I have never met anyone as insecure as her.She tries to run me down buy calling me names,and even tells her friends(so called!)that i am a bi*ch,just so they won't want to hang out with me.Everyone tells me to ignore her because she is just jealous.She is not the best looking person.I try but it has gotten way out of hand.She won't even let her husband hardly talk or see my husband(his brother)or his parents.I blame him for that also though.She is so possesive of him that she even works with him!He can't even go to the boys night out hockey game without her going.Mind you,she is the only women there.My mother in law has even put her two sense in.She said that she doesn't bother to say anything just to keep the peace.I say that peace at any cost is no peace at all.My question is,do i say something to her after xmas,or keep quite?

During the weekend i have been staying at home because i am sick and i am trying to get better anyways i love my brother, i just do not know why he does not talk to me as much as he did at least 2 or 3 months ago. Does he love me or not? Although i am trying to show him love and kindness and during the weekend that is what i have been showing him plus i have been giving him hugs the more when i think about it i get confused?
Please give me any advice if u know any!

I'm an only child, but I know of at least 5 families near me that have "disowned" one of the siblings. This is for various reasons ranging from just a big fight, to drugs being involved. Is this a normal happening in the world? Anybody else out there with these kinds of problems with their siblings? I'm really curious, and what has caused this in your family?

I want to get my mom something nice, something she will really like for once. My mom gets everything she needs for herself. She doesn't wear jewelry except for her wedding and engagement rings. She doesn't wear much make-up. She doesn't wear scented things because my dad's allergic. She's not really into herself so a massage or a manicure or something like that wouldn't be used. My dad is an antique collector, so they have all kinds of pretty things to sit around. She enjoys cooking but she teaches a culinary program and does that all day so she really doesn't cook much at home. She loves her grandchildren but she takes pictures of them and I give her pictures of them all the time. Any suggestions?

My little sister is 13 years old and she is about to go into foster care again. i am 18 and married and live in a appartment with my husband. do we take her in? she is smoking pot and drinking beer. she is only 13 years old. she lives with her father and step monther. our mother is a truck driver and is on the road all the time with her new husband who my sister is not to be around because of her father and mom is not going to leave her husband for a daughter who lies non stop! can you all give me some advice?

i have 5 kids all the loves of my life and i have custady of 4 the other child is with her dad,im a waitress and make min wage tips suck because its a small town not to many jobs.and my kids are happy here.so,the child that i dont have her dad is a big "big time" cop and makes a good living.and when i had her he never paid me a dime for the whole time i had her and never even helped with doctor bills.he dumped me when i was 4 months pg.after about 1 1/2 he gets married and files for custady,and WON.now i have 4 kids i support ALONE,there dad has never paid support ive tried he changes jobs and names like underwaer.after they take support for her my check is 40.00 biweekly thats 80.00+tips a month to support 4 kids is there somthing wrong with this,ive asked them to lower it they said 230.00 a month isnt alot to pay.but when it comes down to it it is alot.when ur supporting 4 more alone.what can i do about this?plz help.

my mother in law to be is getting on my last nerve! I really care about her I know she does it as a MOTHER, but hello its not her resposability anymore! My Fiance and I have been together for a while now, but when we are invited to a party or gathering they show up. We of course are having a good time drinking socializing and the next thing I know is ...you all better stop drinking. Telling me I should tell my fiance to stop. She keeps saying when you all get married all this is going to stop...WTF??? We don't have kids we don't have anything holding us back from PARTYING!! I know this girl that is 21 going on 22 with a 2 1/2 year old son and is now dating a 16 year old boy! He is still in high school and she has her own apartment, car and works.
