I think this is so sad. Quite often, people disown their families when it comes to money issues. It's a horrible thing to see happen and completely unnecessary. I think it comes down to morality and choosing right from wrong.
A good person would accept their family members with all their faults and love them and forgive them.
I would imagine that the hardest thing would be to find out if your sibling made love or cheated with your spouse. That would be a difficult one to forgive. I'm sure it has happened, but I can't imagine why someone would be so selfish and hurtful.
I believe in God and the Devil, and I believe that we have the choice to decide who we will follow and live our life accordingly.
God Bless.
I have two sisters and I love them dearly, we fight and get frustrated with one another but in the end nothing comes between us.

Siblings were never "owned" to begin with. That aside, those that have claimed to "disown" their siblings, I'd say there's a 80% chance they will be in contact with them in the future, even if it's decades later. There are so many variables to "disowning" your siblings that make life unpleasant, it's easier to simply develop tolerance. Family functions, visits with parents, etc become uncomfortable. It's not worth it.

There are 4 kids in my family, My older Bro, Me, My lil Bro and Sis.
They can all piss me off at times, but its regular sibling stuff.
I love them very much and seeing the way my Mom and her brother are I don't want my relationship to be like that with any of my siblings.
So my siblings and I all get along good, we may have fights at times but that's normal, especially with 2 teens and 2 younger kids lol

It's easier to "dump" a kid than to act responsibly ... in family's with good values, this is rare. Strangely enough, it occurs more often in Liberal family's who preach tolerance but very often have none for others.
