ex. you need money for a bill then you find some extra cash--you could say it was a god send.
you are stranded at the side of the road because your car broke down, a friend drives by and stops to help, you could say there were a god send.

something that god has provided you with for which you are really grateful. most times it is the out of the ordinary that we consider 'god send'. like extra cash when we need it the most, a job oppotunity seemingly out of nowhere, a ride when your car is broken, someone stops by just to chat when u need someone to talk to and do not know where to turn, etc.
