As I am not a very organised person, I still haven't got Mum and Dads Xmas pressie. Any advice? The're both in their late 60's. They don't want clothes as they're very fussy and very hard to get the correct size for them. They all ready have a lot of dinner vouchers. They're not people for going away and staying in a hotel as they're home birds. They're not into Jewellary. ???????

How about writing them up a coupon book? I know this sounds childish, but I did this for my mom when I was a little kid- the coupons were good for chores like, vaccuming, dishes and folding laundry. Later, as my mother got a little older (and single) she too was increasingly difficult to buy for. To bring back the coupon book was a great idea, except with BIG chores, like cleaning the gutters, or shoveling her walkway, or cleaning her house. She said that it was the best gift, because it's what she really needed~ some help!

Think about what their hobbies are or what they spend their time doing. This should give you a clue as to what interests them. If they like to gamble, scratch tickets, if they like to knit, some new pattern books and voucher at the yarn barn, if your dad likes to putter in the yard, some new yard tools...if your mom likes to cook, a new fancy appliance....
Take an honest look at their interests, and what they do all day, it should give you a clue.

Get them something for their home if they do not go out alot. Do they need anything new? Take a look around the house and see their style and go from there.
