Girls need toys that are creative also and even if you go to any of the Discovery or museum or science stores, you can find interesting things. Everyone gets Barbies, etc. Get them something that will also be informative or creative, like art sets, painting, charcoal, etc. My daughter wants to get her children a microscope in a few years.

Games always work too, see what games they might like.

My grandkids have a play popup tent they just love and when they visit, they bring it over and we can use it outside and inside for when they go to sleep. Sometimes you can find them online, I know time is short, but next time you can think about the play tents. They also loved taking my huge exercise ball out into the yard and playing games to see how fast they can push it back and forth down the length of the yard and then bat it around to one another. If you are in a winter climate, there are always snow tubes that are fun. Enjoy your holidays!

I have a 5 year old sister and I got her a Bratz coloring book pack. Of course around that age any kind of dolls would be nice and most of them you can find under $20 at WalMart or any store like that.

For the eight year old you can try getting her the Bratz doll, for the six year old you can try barbie dolls and Care bears, and for the four year old you can try the my little pony's or a baby doll. Those things use to work for my daughter when she was growing up.
