Expecting your boyfriend to keep his hands off other women is not being possessive! He could have shared the information with her without the kiss and hug.
Don't take him back.

As you said, he was an ex... you have no hold on him or what he does. Be honest with yourself, you don't own any person. What he does on his own time is not your concern. He was not in a relationship with you , so how could he be cheating or otherwise.
If he wants to see you again and start dating, and you want to, then go ahead and do so.
If you are a jealous person and have to cling to people to feel secure , then I would do some work on myself before I got into any relationship.
That would be enough to drive anybody away, no one likes a jealous, clingy immature gf.
So lighten up, make up your mind and act on it , one way or the other.
You will not get sympathy for being an ex......
If you were together and he did this, it would be a completely different story....

Okay think it this way ,do you kiss your friends of both the sexes on the cheek ?? If you do is it because of some sexual / romantic interest ??
I think this should mark some kinda unspoken rule , about the behavior that is acceptable and not acceptable between you and your ex....yes ??
Have a heart and don't be like a man with double standards ;)

I don't think there is anything that bad about hugging somebody and kissing them on the cheek. Where I live you great total strangers like that. I hug pretty much all my friends.
If you really like him, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

A buddy of mine said he broke up with his girlfriend because she admitted to kissing another guy(during their courtship). She thought he was harsh towards her because he walked away. She felt she just made an "oopsies", and for him just to roll it off his back. She expected him to immediately forgive and be with.
I felt that my buddy made the wise choice to walk away because come to find out? She did a bit more than kiss. But somehow my buddy is labeled a "jerk" by all her friends because he broke up with her. Yes, lets hope the guy won't receive any STDs from her. He is going for a blood test tomorrow. I also suggested him get a DNA test.... Just to be safe. Paternity fraud is a real pain.

No, if you start believing these kind of lies from men, you'll never trust your own judgement again. Why would he need to hug and kiss another girl? Does he hug and kiss all his guy friends? You weren't being possessive, you were being smart. Stay that way.

if he has given you in the past same signs then sure no. He doesnt worht it.But there is a possibility that the things are as he told you.Have you ever before see him hug and be close to another friend of him?
Anyway,if you still like him and want to be with him take him back, but you 'd better have your eyes open and search it a bit.

Get real "a kiss on the cheek" means nothing now if it was a lip lock I would be concerned.

No, I wouldn't. How would he feel if he walked in on you, alone, with another man, hugging and kissing? Chances are, he wouldn't take you back, so why should you take him back?

Don't give him a chance. He broke up with you. You didn't break up with him. The ball is in your court. Honestly, if he had to come up with lame excuses, he knows he shouldn't have done it in the first place. Get another guy, and make him a little jealous. It won't hurt. ;)
