My older sister is 15 years older then me, and I feel like she's constantly competeing with me. She recently got a divorce and wants to act like she's my age, wants to date guys my age, dress like me and compare our lives....If i diet so does she, If I get my hair highlighted so does she, a cute guy flirts with me and it's because she turned him down first!! It's so frustrating...

The impertinence of it all, claiming that the GorgeousFluffpot snores. Well I certainly cannot hear it as I am asleep but he says that he is telling the truth. Which one of us is right?

my question is a very hard one. my mom just had a stroke and out of all 5 of my siblings i'm the only one who can devote more time to caring for her. well my main problem is that it's christmas eve tomorrow and i have to bake, shovel, clean house, chase a 4 year old around, plus watch my sister's 8 year old, laundry, take the garbage to the city dump and the list is longer. i have a step dad he just doesn't care to help out. he has 3 children of his own-18,16,15. it's his weekend with them plus he figures that he don't need to help out around here, well i'm running around doing all the work. then this morning i get a phone call telling me that my real dad will be spending the night here tonight. so now i must clean me and my daughters room so he can sleep in there. how can i get help. i'm at the very end. i'm actually feeling like i'm ready to breakdown. i'm 5 months pregnant. how do i get my step dad to see that i need help around here.

They probably love each other but are they still in love like when they got married? Mine are. They've been married for 18 years on the 29th.

Hello. How can I cope with a mother-in-law who is very possessive of her son? Let me give you examples.
1. When he does not text her one day, she sends a lot of messages to him and sits down and waits for an answer and when it does not come she gets all annoyed...
2. She often tells me what I should do. For instance, she always tells me "You should go to mass.Me I do every week"
3. She always makes people believe that without her her sons' world won't function. For example, if she's not here her son will die of hunger but in fact her son is a great cook.
Please, give me some advice.

My boyfriend of 3 years has got friendly with the landlord in our local pub, he is a fat spotty midget with a son who's a policeman but my boyfriend is fit. We moved here to get away from trouble cos my boyfriend was a handful and always in fights. The landlord keeps him there giving him drinks and winding him up, it's a dead end village pub in Wales with half a dozen customers all male chauvinists, prehistoric thinking and they don't like women in there. I collect him but I'm beginning to feel that they are taking the piss out me too. He often starts a fight when he comes home but only when he's been there. The landlord has said a couple of really rude things to me but my boyfriend said he didn't hear them and that I'm being stupid. I don't want us to split up because of a horrible alcoholic man...it sounds stupid but my Dad died about 6 weeks ago and I'm feeling so very low...if only Dad was here he would go and punch all of their lights out

He said some very mean and cruel things to me...fight almost got physically violent. When we get along we really get along great like best friends, but if and when we start to argue it's really out of control and bad. He has a quick temper and I won't put up w/it don't feel I should have to walk on eggshells for anybody, even family.

I am a birth mother who placed my son for an open adoption 5 years ago. I still see my son every 2 years or so, (we live over 10,000 miles apart). Do you think he will want to contact me or even visit me in the future? Are boys that curious about their blood bond with their birth parents?

I am divorced and have been living with someone for over a year. My mother is very well aware that we live together and has never shown any indication of not liking him. When we received our package in the mail that she sent, it had gifts for me, my son and daughter and even a box of candy that was only labeled to the 3 of us. My boyfriend was very hurt and mad that she sent him nothing. Now I don't know what to say to her or what to do. Any advice?
