It may be too late to get it done, but a professional photograph of all of their kids and grand-kids would make the perfect gift! I meant to do that for my folks this year and here I am, heading to Target! LOL.

If they are active, you can always get stuff for them to work in the yard, or stuff for the kitchen. Good Luck!

In 2004 when I got married the grandmas got those big framed pictures of me and my new husband in our wedding clothes. I think they are 8 x 10 or something? Not sure. If you recently graduated from high school or college you could use the same idea for graduation pictures. This year I am making homemade stollens for all my grandparents. That's like a sweet bread and mine has raisins in it but other people sometimes put candied fruit in there too. Mine tastes kinda like frosted raisin bread. Also you could bake them cookies or invite them over for a homemade meal if you are on your own already.

The best gift for grandparents is your time. Spend a day with them; take them to a wonderful restaurant. Do some things around the house for them that they have difficulty doing. Love, love, love them. Give them your time and attention while they can enjoy it. Nothing will please them more!

Spending some time with them. How about going out to lunch or dinner with them as your treat? It would mean so much to them to have your company as I'm sure they don't need another "thing" to dust or own. Life is too short, make time to create the memories with your grandparents that you will share with your own children in the future.

I miss my grands so much, but remember all the little things we did together and the laughs we shared.

Merry, Merry.

When one of my grandpa lost his tooth. I bring him to the dentist to replace it. I bought him a supporting stick when he requires it and finally, I always voluntary to fetch him to doctor's appointment. Always show them you are there whenever you need them is the best gift. So treasure them since they are still around and you will receive more love from your dad and mom. Keep up your good heart.
