Im 18 years old. I live in a hispanic family with great people and great parents. Weve recently moved from my hometown of san jose to the outskirts of riverside,ca where its dry and boring (mostly senior citizens live in this community) I've always been that man that says that one should stay with their parents untill they are ready to go. My parents are so generous to pay for my community college courses. The house is beautiful. But i just cant stand it anymore in this place. Ive been living here for almost half a year. I told myself "I'm just gonna dive into this place and see where it takes me...sure its a culture shock, but ill get used to it..ill eventually have friends" 6 months later, i still feel like i dont belong. I have been talking to my parents in a respectable way about seriously moving back home and living with my best friend while going to a much better community college. I can now pay for my own college (F-AID) but my family doesnt trust me; they are so attached to me.

This is a bit stupid, almost pointless, but, one night me & my father got into a big fight. I had back-talked my mother and he was in rage. He had his hand raised, so, I suppose my reaction was to run. I was near the fireplace, then, he gave me a good shove and pushed me into it, I had some of my flesh torn by the brick, and some nasty bruises.

I understand is any of you believed I deserved it for back talking. But, I was just wondering if this was wrong of him in any way?

My mother and father are literally stuck on my *** all the time. I don't know what to do. They always want to know where I'm going, who I'm with, any guys that will be attending. EVERYTHING.. I think it is because about a year ago I went with a boy to the movies and things happened. It completely shattered their trust and I felt terrible, but yet, it made me want to rebel more. Every wall they put up, I miserably smash it down.

What do I do?

My brother is down for thanksgiving and he brought his gf. Ive met her before and she was really cool and everything.

Now she is here for the second time and I have been really overly emotional with my brother. I start to think all he wants to do is go out and have fun with his gf and his friends while he is here ,and i also think that he isnt spending enough time with me, which makes me upset and start to cry. I dont know how to stop these emotions... can anyone help?

I've always planned to have 3 children. I keep being warned, though, about "Jan Brady Syndrome" and told that it's best to have 2 or 4 kids to avoid it. What do you think? Does the middle child always get the short end of the stick? Are middle children more likely to have emotional difficulties than first or lastborns?

What do I do when my parent's push me so hard to do exactly the same as my sister. I know for a fact that im not a straight A student. My sister on the other had, is a straight A student. My parent's are pushing me so hard to do well in sports, and in academic's. I am definatly not as smart as my sister. I am working to my breaking point and still get C-'s on my report cards. I cant take it. And in sports, I hate them. I know I am not the sporty type. I am into heavy metal music, and playing and teaching music. Its what I like. But how do I tell my parent's that Its the best I can do? The last time I tried, My mom screamed at me. She think's she know's, but really she doesn't so how do I make a statement?

Does anyone else ever feel like they are failing their kids? My daughter is sick and I feel really guilty for going to work and leaving her home with her dad. I know he is a great father and will take good care of her but I still feel I should be there. I feel like I am failing my kids by working all the time. Does any one else feel this way? Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

My mom tells me im ugly that i dont fit in with other people, that i dont have friends that ther only beautfiul part on me is my armpitt cause i was saying that i dont have hair down there. like wdf did she ever care about how i feel? i mean im only not perfect because of her, she ***** made me i didnt choose how i looked you know. It really hurts how the person who is serpose to support me and understand me is the person that hurts me. I cant tell her when im not okay because she'll just say something shitty to me that will hurt. You know what i cant stand when people tell me im ugly or they say crap about it, i just burst into tears. I am crying right now. I cant take it, no one helps no one makes me feel beautful or loved, almost everyone i meet at school are fake and two faced. I really cant help it that im not perfect, im not normal like everyone else, i feel so different. i dont fit in.

OMG NO NO NO!!!!!!!! He is kinda not down to earth on this one....... A guy who drives a VW bug? EVERYONE would think he is GAY!!

Not only are VW bugs descusting looking i would be so embarased being droped off at school with my DAD driving a vw bug. Maybe my mom, just not my dad.

SO, are you gonna answer by saying "just because a guy drives a vw bug hes not gay" then look here -- coming straight from a gay guy, he says "just so its clairified, i do not drive a bug. because i know thats where you're going. I'm not that gay"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-B1hJpv_Wew&mode=related&search=

NOW with that point prooved, WHAT DO I DO!! I can not let my DAD get a VW bug or else he would look so gay when he is driving around in it.
how do i tell him that only gay guys drive vw bugs????

What can I do about a trouble teen who does not want to get her life straighten? She has had intervention for 3 months and now she is back to the same person she was before she went. She is disrepectful, does drugs, hang out with wrong group of people and doesnt have respect for herself. I have hung in there with her for almost a year and now I am at the end of my ropes, and I am in an emotional wreck and dont know what else to do. I am her mother.

I was born in August 1978. My mothers name is Donna. My name is Amanda. Robert was friends with Richard Lacroix. My mother lived in Massey, I just want to know who I am. I am not mad for him not being there. Also wanted to let him know that he has 2 grandsons, and a son-in-law. Robert would be aproximatley in his 40's. He has a bother named Claude in know that there are more brothers and a few sisters too but I do not know there names. My mother told me that he was from Estaire, Ontario, which is just outside of Sudbury I'm not sure of his mothers name It was eithr Lorretta or Kathy deffenently sure that Roberts fathers name was Nelson. Don't know what else to say. That is pritty much all of the info. that I have. Any information would be aprechiated. Thank-you Amanda.
