your mom still sees him as her little baby, even though he is very capeable of picking his own clothes out by now. But when your used to something all the time you hate for it to change so its really up to your mom to stop doing this and let him take charge over what to wear. But as long as she keeps doing this he wont see anything wrong with it. But yes i think its time for you mother to put a stop to it, she needs to face that her little boy is not so little any more and needs to tell her son this. If she keeps doing this, if he ever has a friend over they will probably make fun of him and it will hurt his feelings, so maybe you should talk to your mother about it, before it gets to that point.

Well it's not wrong. But he's old enough to pick out his own clothes. It's time he learns. When he's older, his mom isn't always going to be there to do things for him. The sooner you learn the better. But no it's not wrong. He's to the age though, most kids start learning what responsibility is and this would be a good place to start. Maybe teach him how to match clothing if he don't know how right now and let him start doing it on his own.

If your brother is in the sixth grade and your mom is STILL picking out his clothes, he's just lazy. It's time for him to do that on his own. Actually, it's pass time for him to do that. He needs to learn how to take responsibility. Your mom has got to just STOP!! She know that she needs to stop, but some parents just don't know when to let go.

yes its wrong and someone needs to tell her that it is! hes in 6th grade and probably trying to meet ggirls and establish himself before middleschool. i have a kid in my algebra class that has his mom choose his clothes and he looks so out of place especially since everyone knows that she does it to him. he gets humiliated all the time and i feel sorry for him. she actually set out a pink polo with a lebron james jersey (hes in the nba and amazing, in case you dont know) and he looked like a clown. tell her to stop and let him pick out his own clothes so he can feel like hes in style.

is he upset that his mom picks out clothes for him? if he is then tell him to remind her that he has grown up and would like the privilege of picking out his own clothes- make sure that he says he loves her- moms love that

no it is not wrong. i think it perfectly OK. i still pick out my little girls clothes and she is seven yrs old. i think that they still need to have a couple of more years in coordination before they start to pick out their own clothes. they should be taught how to dress appropriately.

I think you should ask your brother how he feels about it. If your brother is ok with it then your mind should be off of it. If he is not, simply tell a parent how you feel about him not being happy. If you were him how would you feel and what would you want to do about it? Just think of it like that.

There's nothing really wrong...A mother will be a mother no matter how old one gets...trust me....but it is time that your lil bro starts to pick out his own clothing....its his first step into becoming his own identity...his own person.
