My brother is down for thanksgiving and he brought his gf. Ive met her before and she was really cool and everything.
Now she is here for the second time and I have been really overly emotional with my brother. I start to think all he wants to do is go out and have fun with his gf and his friends while he is here ,and i also think that he isnt spending enough time with me, which makes me upset and start to cry. I dont know how to stop these emotions... can anyone help?

I kind of bottle up my feelings so that makes it even harder to tell him how i feel.

Jealous yes, unreasonable no. Here is an idea, ask your brother if you and he can hang out and do lunch and while you are doing that he can treat his girlfriend to a manicure and pedicure. She does not have to be all alone in a new city and she may enjoy the pampering. It could be a win win situation. Let him know that you miss him and if she is cool chances are she will understand.

this is your brother, so why not ask him to go and do something with you? just the two of you, tell him that you have missed him, and that you have not spent much time together since he has been home and that you would like to go and do some thing before he leaves. go grab a bite to eat and catch a movie. he might really like the fact that you asked him.

You need to accept that your brother now is a man,who has right to have a girlfriend. He is not a child anymore. One day you will have a boyfriend too,and he will accept that change in your life.He is growing up,now he is a man.you do not have any reason to be jealous.Accept he is now a mature man.Remember that your brother is your brother forever, with or without girlfriend.Good luck.

you dint need to be jealous. You are his sister not his girlfriend.try not to get upset or angry otherwise he wont want to spend time with you.maybe take him to the side and ask if you could just spend a little time together without her .But dint come across mean because he wont appreciate it.Maybe he cant spend time with you because she doesn't want to be left by herself remember she is the girlfriend and its hard around new people take a step back and look at her view !!

It natural to want to spend time with your brother, especially if you don't see him very often. My sister does the same thing to me - she invites her friends to come with use wherever we go when I go visit her. Just tell him that you would like for him to set aside some one-on-one time with you. He will understand.

you could ask your brother to do something with you but it is rude of you not to invite his g/f too you said they came down so i assume they dont live in your town so it would be very rude of your brother to hang out with you a diss his girl in a place she is new to.. i think your being jealous yes....

you want your brother all to yourself, you need to learn to let him have fun with his friends for a while and remember that he is your brother and he has a special bond with you that he will never have with his girlfriend and friends
