I'm sure they surprise you sometimes, but do they ever say anything that you wouldn't say, something you just can't understand? there are two parents so I suppose that might make it a little more complicated.. i don't know, though. I'm not a parent

I dont useually dwell on dreams but lately iv been having some really messed up ones

A few days ago i dreamed that i was looking at a photo of my brother. I the background was a man. In the dream I placed this man as my junior school principle - but when i woke up i realised that it was in fact my late grandfather (whom i havn't thought about for ages)

Then last night I dreamed that my family and I were visiting my moms sisters that live overseas. My cousin and I (he is 10 months younger than me) hav a pretty wierd relationship. we respect each other, but we are 2 totally different people.
In the dream i dreamed that we started shouting at each other and basically became enimies in moments - and the rest of my family turned a blind eye to it

Am I being papanoid, or does this have another meening. If so what is it??? Please help

During the week day I get back home around 6.30pm. I then have something to eat and have a chat with the kids regarding what they did in school and what they have been watching on t.v since coming back from school. After that, I help them with their homework. By the time all that is finished, it is around 7.30pm and they start preparing to go to bed. However, I do get to spend a lot of time with them during the weekend.

However, I still get the feeling that I don't spend enough time with them and that something is missing from our parent/child relationship. My wife is a house wife who of course gets to spend a lot more time with the kids than myself.

Do you think I am spending just enough time with them or do I need to spend some more time with them i.e. sacrifice more of my leisure time.

Thanks

I have a son that is going to be 2 in Dec. His father left me when I was approximately 3 months pregnant, because I wouldn't have an abortion. Orighinally, I was going to sign over my rights of my son, but then decided to keep him, because my heart wouldn't allow me to. My son was born in Dec 2004 and Jan of 2005 I sent e-mail to the grandmother that I did keep him. Well my son is almost two now and I know they both know I kept him, but are denying him. SUPPOSEDLY, the father said that if we do a DNA test done and that he is the father, then he's going to go for custody. Does anyone happen to know how long a parent has to go without any contact to the child, before their rights get stripped automatically?

i had lossed my grandfather (basically my father) to leukemia in 2005. Since then the will of my grandfather went over to my aunt (she lives in LA and im from NY). Her job was to watch over my family (my dad -mentally ill, brother and i) and my grandfathers house which we all lived in. She never let me see the will. Instead she forced me and my brother to move out of the house and we weren't allowed to visit my father. She brainwashed my father to never talk to us and she sold my house. The only reason why she kept me and my brother away from my home and father was so she could sell the house quicker. I was forced to move into my moms house with her boyfriend that sexually moless me. I recently learned that she split the money of the house with all 4 aunts....leaving nothing to me or my father (i lived in that house my whole life and im 20 now). Im in my junior year at college and my grades have went down as a result of all this. I want to sue her for my emotional and physical pain

This is my report, please check if there are any grammar mistakes, thankyou!
The reason I chose “frog” for my subject is because I want to do something different from others. I know Christina chose “mosquito” for her subject and Naomi chose “ladybug” for her subject, so I thought it would be more interesting if we all have different subjects, also we could learn different things. There is also another reason why I chose “frog” for my subject. When I was little I usually like to go to the aquarium with my dad, and I often saw frogs. When I shout at when, they pretend not to hear me; they just sit there acting like they are deaf (or maybe they are real deaf), I got mad when they ignore me, so I hit them and then at jumped on my hand, I felt disgusting, from that time, my head are always thinking about frog, this is another reason I chose “frog ” for my subject!

I'll try to explain because I'd like to know how many people are like me. My grandparents were the reason for my happiness as well as keeping me sane when I was a kid. As i got older it seemed liked they loved me more. They have both passed but when I see elderly people I try & make them smile. For instance I'll be in a restaurant & I'll pay their bill without them knowing, or I'll give the cashier at the supermaket $40 to deduct from their bill. I never let them know it I just feel like in my heart I'm thanking my grandparents for being so kind to me. My mom thinks I go alittle overboard but does anyone else do nice things for people because it was done for them?

today is my birthday : ) my brothers called me to say "Happy Birthday" and my parents said so too (and my aunt and my cousin)

BUT my man hasn't, obviously he forgot

he won't get home from work for probably another 1/2-hour so I'm debating whether I should wait up for him just to be mad or just go to bed and be mad when he wakes me up

we're having all kinds of problems lately and now this, he's so inconsiderate that he can't even call to say "Happy Birthday!" I don't want/need or even expect a present, just a simple call to say he remembered (and cares)

my mom called me a little while ago and asked me if I got a nice dinner for my birthday. I laughed and said he hasn't even called all day to even say "Happy Birthday!" she laughed and said, "well, that's what happens when they stop caring"

how mad would you be? is this even something to be upset about? my mom said to forget his birthday when it comes around, kinda hard though, it's New Year's Eve, everyone knows his

My sister in-law is a pathological liar, manipulator, and borderline personality disorder. When she's having a good day...she's a wonderful person, but when she's having a bad day...it's AWFUL!! She puts her kids through hell as well as the rest of her family. Her daughter is 14 and very defensive of her mom, she thinks her mom is just fine and that everyone is just mean to her. Should I try to talk to her about her mom or just leave it alone and let her realize it on her own? I just worry about their well being and that it will be too late.

On Xmas day 2004, my sister and I had a heated argument. Her husband got involved and words were exchanged. My BIL told me that my life was virtually hopeless. I made the statement that my father's death at an early age had caused me to suffer from depression and then said, "At least you still have your father".
In Aug 2005 his father died suddenly and he did not want me to know. My sister gave my mother clear instructions that her husband did not want me to know about his father's death. My mother was very puzzled and my sister said it was because of the comment I had made - that at least he still had a father.
I did not know his father nor did I have any association with him. He died of heart complications. To this day, he still does not know that I know. He told my sister it would mean the end of their marriage if I knew. He has convinced my sister that I am responsible for his father's death and he dosn't want me to know.
It is all so upsetting - we havn't spoke in 2 yrs

It's a regular in-laws story..My marriage is 9 years old now..After one year of marriage we shifted from in-laws place to some other city..reasons were understandable to my husband as he had seen her granny and mom's nonco-operative behaviour,My brother in law hardly ever contacted or talked to us and viceversa and My husband gave me to understand that he was always a neglected child from his mother"s view as compared to his younger bro....My father in law is a gem but a usual henpecked husband. He loves us but is helpless. Now my brother -in-law is getting married and we now receive calls from them to help financially.I can go so on and so forth...and some how I don't wish to attend his wedding but my hsband has bcome suddenly generous and wants to gift gold etc to them.He feels its his younger brother after all.Well please suggest how to come out of this situation?I am very disturbed and restless. We both work.If tell hubby there will definately be a fuss and I want to avoid that.HELP!

I am under the impression she does not want to share my brother with no one. He is not allowed to have friends and visit family. Our parents are deceased and family was important to him then. They now have a baby and says he has no time for our family. We see him about 6 or 7 times a year and he lives near by. My family loves him but are not to happy about their new attitude. We are having a dinner tomorrow and my brother wanted to just show up when my family heard they insisted he call them before just showing up. Being that they have not heard from him in a year. His wife got upset and decided not to call or show up. My family is not the perfect family but overall we have no drugs, drinking or anything crazy like that to influence our thoughts. I told my brother he was not invited and my sister in law ? me. He never did such a thing. Then he ? me. I then told him I told him because I dont want anyone screaming at him. Was I wrong to tell my brother that I always talk 2
