Honesty is the best policy. I always tell my kids lying or deception is the worst thing they can do and will result in the stiffest punishment from me. Talk to your parents. I seriously doubt they will "kill you" and they can help come up with ways to help you in geometry.
I cheated in geometry in high school, so I'm not just a stuffy adult preaching here. I was eventually found out. My parents helped me get the tutoring I needed and it turned out for the best.

Take it from someone who has been there, the longer you try to hide this little secret the worse it's going to get. Because they are parents, they will eventually find out, and man will they be overly pissed when they do. The best thing to do is to sit down with them as an adult and confess your failing grade, but DO NOT come to the table with just a confession. Make it seem as though you have learned your lesson by coming to the table with a comprehensive plan of how your going to get your act together. Maybe go talk to an at school tutorer or a study group and write down all of the info they give you, parents love this kind of stuff, see if you can get some extra practice work from your teacher (not that you're actually going to do it, this is just to get yourself out of hot water, but if your grades are this low then you should probably actually do some of the work). Bring a whole presentation with you and your parents will see your willingness to do better. Accept the fact that you did in fact fail and don't get angry at your parents when they get angry at you for failing (at least not in front of them, rant and rave when you get some alone time). Last but certainly not least pray, pray, pray, and pray some more that your parents understand and try to talk sensibly to them and tell them that you need some help with this class. Parents love to know that they are needed, and the more you need them the better these situations get for you. Good luck and God bless! I'm praying for you.

You might as well tell them yourself because if they find out and YOU HAVEN'T TOLD THEM YOURSELF, they will be mad!!!
I would just tell them that class is hard and you're doing the best you can! That's all they ask of you anyway.
But next time, do a little bit more studying, a little more note-taking, and pay close attention in class...your grade will go up. "D" is actually passing anyway. But maybe next time, you can at least get a "B"?! I know school can be hard, just do your best. That's all anyone asks of you. Good luck.

Just tell your parents. They will find out in the long run. They will be much harsher on you if they have to find out from someone else. Tell them that you are willing to work hard to bring up your grade, but the teacher won't help you by telling you what you need to do to bring it up.

Just tell them that you have a D in Geometry.
Also explain that although you did well in Algebra, Geometry is difficult. It's requiring time and patience, and you're beginning to understand those difficult concepts.
They should understand.
Just don't get emotional. You'll be fine!

tell them that you did your best and that there love and support mean everything to you and that you hope that they are not to disappointed in you and that you will try harder next time or wait maybe you could study for the test again show it to your par rents and have all the right answers for them so that they can see that you really did learn it and that is the important thing right that you learned it then how can they be mad at you for learning it??? don't worry they love you or they wouldn't care about your grades.

Be honest, tell them you got a D, you know why and you will reverse this. You do know why ....was it home work or not studying for a test......but if you make the promise to bring it up
you have to keep this promise, study study....whatever..
This is your word....and it is what Men are judged on....
do you keep it...or are you a loser.....success is not easy
Good Luck....Always keep your word.

Tell them that you are going to work hard to bring your grade up and get started on doing so. Do your homework.

Don't let them catch you be the bigger person and tell them to there faces or through a note if they find out through someone else they're just going to be harder to deal with and you'll get a harder punishment if you don't tell them first........
