my sister in law is 19 her bf 22 they live together and their dumbassses and lazy *** take advantage of my mother in law, they claim they never have money, so my mom in law washes their clothes,pays cell phone, buys everything for their daughter, wipes,pampers, and recently gave them a car my husband and i are paying for. and pays the babysitter, i used to watch her kid and she still owes me $70 from aug, so i asked her to pay me and she had the nerve to tell me she had nothing to do with it, and i just found out her mom has been paying me, my husband bitched at me for asking her for the money , he told me i pissed the biitch off and she pissed off her bf and they got into an arguement! can u believe my husband tellin me that shiit?i didnt do anything wrong right? he doesnt see that their dumbasss is irresponsible as hell, they both work ok thats fine, but they dont even take their daughter a bath! dude what the hell, am i the only one who sees they're irresponsible?

I mean, look at the list of banned books, which includes "A Wrinkle in Time," Huck Finn, and even "Little Red Riding Hood"! And there are so many commercials that prey upon this irrationality, reminding parents to "protect" their children from germs, allergens, etc. I grew up reading most of the top 50 banned books(some at a very young age) and was raised with germs everywhere and I turned out fine! Additionally, why is it that parents in our backward culture try to protect their children from sexuality or nudity more than violence? Does seeing a nipple really damage a child? Or is seeing 8,000 murders by the age of ten the real danger? (keeping in mind that violent crime hasn't increased in the U.S. in over 30 years, even with all of the violence on tv). what are your thoughts?

My step-daughter is 10 and she is starting to talk back to both me and my husband. She has never been like this. Recently her mother and I got into a little bit of on argument over my husband and since then she started being that way with me. I love my step-daughter to death, so it hurts me that she's being that way with me, she's even starting to be mean to my her little sister who is 2. So what should i do? I also have never fought with her mother, this is the first time ever, so do you think she's mad about me getting into it with her mother??

I need to know what I can do legally when I have a Judge who woudn't put my kids dad in jail for not doing what he should, all because the Judge was the respondent's father's friend.. Isn't there something against that, or something that I can do.. ?? Because he basically spit in mine and my children's faces saying he wasn't going to do anything all out of a friendship, so he passed it onto another Judge but the problem is that my kids paternal grandfather knows alot of people in high appointments like Judge's what do you suggest that I do? How will ever find a Judge that doesn't know whom he is.??? Please help, I don't make enough money right now to cover my bills as well as get my kids some Christmas what should I do.

Have you ever had to sit by, and watch a family member with a terminal illness in the last days of their lives slowly fade away? How did you deal with it. Apparently there is nothing medically left to help my grandmother, the doctors are basically keeping her comfortable now and waiting for the inevitable. Seeing someone you love going through this is almost too much to deal with. I would really appreciate any advise you could offer. Thank you.

I'm afraid CPS is going to take my sister's kid. She is a hypochondriac and today at the doctor tested positive for barbituates and marijuana. Her husband is not a user and takes wonderful care of the child, but is fighting lymphoma.

If CPS should try to put her son in foster care, what are my chances of getting custody? I don't want to lose him to the system, but my husband and I only have a 2 bedroom home and 2 daughters of our own...

My MIL said we when have our baby she wants to buy the crib & wants my mom to go in halves with her. The problem is my mom is a single mom who is still trying to raise my 15 yr old sister & she isn't making much money so she is having a hard time herself. My MIL thinks it's bad that my mom can't help & she makes smart comments. When we got married my MIL was trying to say what my mom needed to pay for- I mean we are aware of the tradition where the brides's parents pay for the wedding gown, etc but if mom doesn't have the $ she doesn't have it ya know? y mom ended up helping right much because she got her tax money. But now, my MIL is acting the same way about the baby. I've told her before that mom is struggling but either she forgot or she don't care. If she had it she would do whatever I wanted her to because mom is a giving person. My husband's parents don't have any younger kids & they own their own business so she don't understand. How should I handle it if she starts again??

I need some advise on how I can help my brother see that his girlfriend is no good for him. She is 21 and has a son, but needless to say that isn't the problem. The problem is that she is an extremely irresponsible person. She has gotten my brother into trouble with the law and she isn't even sorry about it. I have tried to talk him out of it, but he is still with her. He says that he feels bad for her son. How could I help him see what a big mistake she really is.

Well at first i had no job and no money and all my friends wanted me to go places with them so i use to ask my mom for money now that I got a job and money when i ask people to go places they always broke and ask me to pay thier way. and when u do stuff in school i always be the one buying the materials and then when i say i dont have money to spend like that they get mad and call me cheap. I am planning to become a foster parent. Aside of helping a child out and providing the love and secure they deserve, I am having second thoughts on doing it, because I am afraid that I can get too attached to a child and then they have to be taken away to the next foster parent. How would I be able to get over this, if it happens to me? Any advice? Anybody out there that have done this and then regretted?

My dad is in the military and he is often away. My mom is out of the picture. I have three older brothers (age 23, 20, and 19). I live with them most of the time.
When I get in trouble, should they be allowed to spank me? They don't do it without reason, but they do it on my bare backside and they usually use a belt. I am thirteen, and I just wanted to know what some older people thought.
