Tell them what you told us--it's not fair that you are put to an inconsiderate standard. Explain to them your side.

I understand where you are coming from, too. My husband was out of work, and we decided to stop going out every Sunday after church with his family. We told them and they were okay with it, but it took 2 months to phase it out. They wouldn't go places with less than $40 a meal! THEN his sister made him rent a $100 tux for her wedding, even though we were broke!

Now that he had a job and we have money, they want us to pay for them and go out all the time. ARGH!

a real friend wouldn't make you feel that way. I wouldn't give my money away. Your not cheep your smart. Try this-when you pay for something make sure when your giving the money away you ask that they pay you back.

sounds like you are getting to the stage you are going to have to make new friends i.e. friends who are in the same tax bracket as yourself. you will find you can do more things and will know your limits when you have friends in the same boat with you.

You should tell your friends that the bank is permanently closed. Friends like that you don't need.

tell them to clean your room and you will take them out. you work for your money so they can work for it too. if you dont want to tell them that take em out and make them watch you have fun while they sit there and do nothing.
