Family - October 2006

My brother and I, have fights most of the time, not fist fights, but word fights, that we end up not talking too each other for a while, I treat him bad sometimes, uncontrollably, I have to say it's just my life that's doing this to me...just too much stress, and the fights between my parents...my point is, how do I show him I love him so much, should I buy something for him, should I give him something he loves of mine....what do u think? Im 14 by the way, and he's 11.

My mom got married a couple of months ago and I LOVE MY STEPDAD...... well in the beginning me and my step sis were like bestfriends.... but her mom hates my mom and wont let her come around me...and my stepdad does nothing about it..... I want to have a relationship with my stepsister because her mom hates us she hates us...shes a 5 months younger then me... and is going threw the same problems I went threw.... what do i do

I worry about my aunt way too much, she added a new name saved in her cell phone, she know's how to spell on it, there was one "xxeaetetg" typed like that, on her message log this person called and she didn't return this phone call as she always does to her phone calls, yet the next day, she forces me to test my blood pressure at the hospital, and while the nurse was talking to me, she makes a quick phone call, and whispers, then on the next one, she talks much louder.

I couldnt make out the last phone call, but the next one she said she'll be home from work at 4:00, and now she's telling me she wont be back till 7:30, and earlier this week when I came home from work (it was an extra 6 hours I been gone), her bed was uneven and the clock appears to be kicked to the side, this is a first, I never see her bed uneven.

She won't tell me, anything.

What could be going on? What does it sound like seriously?

Every family has some silly, famous story that gets told over & over again. What's yours? Our family story is about the time my grandpa went to shake the salad dressing, not knowing the lid was unscrewed, and the salad dressing went flying out of the bottle and all over my mother.

I am currently searching for my siblings. We were adopted as kids and separated. I never really knew them but do have some vague memories of them while visiting our adoption agency. We were adopted through the Catholic Home Bureau in Manhattan NY. My sisters birth name is TinaMarie(a) Morrison, she should be approx. 31-32 years old, she half Puerto Rican, half Black, fair skinned, brownish colored hair. My brother's birth name is Jamie Morrison, he's approx 30-31 years, he is also biracial; Puerto Rican/Black. I have a baby picture of the both of them and he's also very fair skinned, with dark hair. I think that they may be living in the New York area (Queens, Brooklyn etc.) I have already found my aunt and uncle, unfortunately they only knew a little bit about a little bit. So now I'm stepping out on faith and hopefully GOD will lead them to this message. If anyone out there think they may know them, or if you think this might be you, please respond asap. Thanks.....

i think its a shame there are so many kids dumped with family members because their mothers just dont care for them i know of 5 cases local to me alone where mothers just dont want their kids no natural affection its sad

I just had a baby about a month ago and yesterday I found out my mother is pregnant again and this will be her fifth child she asked me did I want her to have it or get an abortion I don't know what to say because I don't think its alright to kill a child and then again I really don't want another brother/sister WHAT SHOULD I TELL HER?

I don't because God commanded this for all His chosen people forever and also baby Jesus was circumsized too. The reason I ask is because there was talk about female circumsion today and this guy told me that all circumcision is mutiliation. Well this is what the Greeks and Romans thought too, but they didn't have the Bible like we do. Female circumcision (removing the clitoris) is abuse and should be illegal but male circumsion should not be illegal because it is much different. Am I right here?

I'm living with an engaged couple, and they don't keep their arguments private. I could be watching tv in the living room and they'll come right out and argue in front of me. I feel really awkward and don't know what to do. I sometimes try to ignore it or I leave, but if I leave they start arguing that they made me leave...What should I do?

She has fibromyalgia and although she isn't in a wheelchair she does need a walking stick and lots of rests.
She does a lot around the house like all mums but just recently she has been looking even tireder than usual and being really cross a lot more than normal.
I don't know if it is something I have done or not, I do try to help around the house, with my brother etc but I can't do everything I'm only 14 years old and she is 35 so she isn't very old so she wouldn't be getting worse or anything would she? I don't know what to do and everything is going wrong. :, (

My husband is ruff with our daughters especialy our oldset whose 2 and a half. a couple examples he shoved her in the door and as a resilt she busted her lip open all becasue the phnoe was ringing and she was hanging on his leg. Another example she accidently bumped him in the month when they were playing around and he shoved her on the floor knocking her head. I do not no what to do? Does he need help with his temper and anger? He verbaly hurts me as well. Calls me really hurtful names. Hes extremly over worked 70-80 hours per week. But is this just an excuse? I thought about leaving until he gets his anger under control but im scared of him and what he may do or say. Im looking out for my daughters well being. some help and input would be appreciated thanks

My mom works nites at a jail on wedensday, thursday, friday, and every other saturday. I really miss her on those nites. i used 2 not but i started crying when she leaves and at nite b4 i go 2 sleep about a week ago. (i'm crying now-she just left a few mins. ago) and about 3 or 4 times now i've woke up thinking some one was in our house, and only once it happened when she was here and didn't have to work. but i now think i did it to myself so she wouldn't go to work that nite. i get really scared now andlast night i had to sleep with in my parents' bed. i really miss her when she leaves and i like her job because gets us alot more money then her old job (my dad works a day job) but i really REALLY miss her and i try to not cry when my sisters or brother or dad or my mom are around so i go into her room get on the computer and cry willl surfing the internet. somtimes i wish school wouldn't end and that the day would go by slow because she leaves when i get home. What should i do?PlzHelp

i babysit my five sibling with my older sister alot (their ages r 10, 8, 6, 4 and 2) and i need some ideas on how to keep them entertained...i don't like putting them in front of the tv the whole time, but whenever i try to set them up w/ something else, like a game, or something the always end up fighting. your ideas?

my brother used to be friends with this guy that i never met before and then one day he just got mad at him. today he came to my house and he asked for my brother and he wasn't here so told him i would call my brother for him. then they talked for a while and my brother told him to come visit where he was. i told the guy how to get there and he asked for my brothers phone # "just incase he got lost" and i didn't think about it and gave it to him. after he left i called my brother and told him i gave it to him and he sounded mad but he didn't get mad at me. so now i feel bad about it.
i knew i shouldn't have opened the door.

is there any way i can make myself feel better about that?

my sons mother is american,she does'nt live with him, he is being raised by her parents. I am no longer with her, since i was refused a visa, i desperately want to be there to see my son grow up. is there any way i can get to live & work there to beable to be with my son? He does'nt know who i am, pretty soon he is going to start asking questions, he's going to think he's been abandoned by his mothewr and father! there must be a way!!!

I always wondered how you would refer to your spouse's sibling's spouse. I know that your spouse's siblings are referred to as your brother/sister-in-law, but what about their spouse?

she just got married 1 month ago and got fired for no call,no show but husbands stands behind her and says it's O.K. and he'll work 2 jobs. While he's at work she runs steady to old drug friends and lies about every thing and if you ask if things are o.k., you get screamed at for butting into her private business. I can see she is losing ground fast and going back to her old ways but don't know how to help her. she won't tell me the trueth about anything. she always was an habitual liar and has the attitude of ME FIRST even over her 2 babies from a previous marriage. She drags them out when she runs off and I have had to take over custody twice now and the athorities say say next time ,they go some where else not to me. She acts like they're lieing and she's not worried. I've threatened to turn those friends in to athorities if she don't stay away and so did her husband but she goes any way. what can I do to get her attention that I am serious. I want those babies safe and I will do it
