I'm sorry sweetie, that sounds really hard. It might help if you spend more time with your siblings and your dad. It sounds like you are isolating yourself from them, and that probably just makes you feel worse. You guys could have movie nights together, there are lots of fun things you can do. Also, on the days that your mom works, maybe you can have a friend over for a few hours after school. When your mom IS home, make sure to spend lots of time with her to make up for the nights when she is not there :-) Good luck. With time, you will not feel so bad.

You sound like you are between a rock and a hard place. Is this your mom's first night time job away from you? Your mom will be OK. And so will you. Your mom loves you very much. That is why she is working a better job. She wants better things for you. She is trying to do something good for you, not hurt you. So don't be sad, OK?

you should talk to her.
my mom had a night time job selling flowers and i cried when she left and i would either sleep in her bed or sleep in my brothers room. it was hard but oonce i told her how i really felt about it she kept it down to a minimum and even sometimes she would go out after i fell asleep.
have u ever went to see what she does? i mean as long as she doesn't let u see the inmates then why not go and see what she does. it might make u feel better.
good luck.

Have you tried talking to you mom and telling her how you feel? Then maybe over time your mom will get a new job with more suitable hours. Or do you have an uncle or somebody that can stay over so you won't be so scared? That could untill she gets a better job. And remember it won't go on forever.

try to stay safe and be good for your parents.I stayed home alone often as a child because I was an only child and had no one to care for me while my mom worked.
