we arnt doing well finatully and my mom said she needs to get a job so i may have to go to school and not be homeschooled anymore but if i bring it up that it may be fun she thinks i hate her and i hate homeschooling

if i don't mention it she feels guilty about it

what do i do? i really don't care if i go or not

I have 4 children and my 7yo is the 2nd oldest. She has started stealing food at all hours of the day and night. We have tried just about every parenting technicque and nothing is working. We even banned her from entering the kitchen and rather than stop her, it just made her become sneakier in her stealing habits. She is definately not hungry and is unable to explain why she is doing it. I feel so frustrated and can't figure out what it is that I am doing wrong. Please, has someone else had this problem or is it just me??

If you are happily married and after 5 years of traveling all over you decide to have kids and was told you can not have kids, would you be okay with that and consider yourself lucky (no diapers, no responsabilities, no lack of sleep) or would you be devasted?

My parents divorced when I was four and my brother was one, after that, half the time we didn't know where he was, and was always making excuses why he wasn't there when he said he would be. But I loved him and I loved the times I did get to be with him. 6 years ago my first husband passed away, and shortly after that my dad decided it was time to be a father, He would complain when I wouldn cancel my traditions with my mom and her family to be with him and his on the holidays. He'll call and ask why we hadn't called to wish him Happy Birthday, or Happy Father's Day yet. Even as an adult he never comes to see me, just complains when I wait to long to come to him. 2 months ago, I moved away from my family, and when I left I didn't tell him I was leaving, and I haven't talk to him since. I know I hurt him, but he doesn't even call my mom to see if I'm doing good. He sees my brother all the time, and hasn't even asked him. I don't know what to do, I miss him alot.what do I do

This is my problem, my husband's old high school friend is a really great guy and I really like him as a person- but he has made some bad choices in his life.
he has 5 children ( with 3 different women) and he works at a burger place. needless to say, he doesn't have a lot of money.
my husband and I are doing okay, we both have good office jobs with benefits and we save and invest our money.

Everytime my husband is with his friend jim, jim always hints that he can't afford his bills,food... ect. and usually, my hubby buys him or pays for whatever jim is hinting about.. jim doesn't make wise financial choices- he bought an xbox360 instead of paying his car payment. and guess who helped him out? .. he eats out a lot and spends most of his money on booze. I've talked to my husband about this- ( we're saving to buy a home and prepaping to start a family.) his response is " the guy needs help." I've even talked to jim in a very gentle way. nothing has changed. please help.

i wounder if i should tell my father he is a shitty father. i dont think he should have had kids at all. hes too weak. his oldest (me 20) is full od rage and is sure to end up in jaill for murder and this youngest (11 my half brother) is on his way to being another damn gangster. so should i tell my father he should have been more like grandpa and hit us when we needed it rather than being so soft? all though i guess it would be too late for him to change. every time i see hom i want to tell him he has dont a bad job but i dont.

Our mother has been very ill for the last 2 months, and my sister doesn't show any concern. She doesn't even call me to ask about our mom. Yesterday I received an invitation for her son's birthday party. I don't want to talk to her or even see her face. Should I even make up some excuses for not going or just don't attend period. Our father passed away 3 months ago, she never visited him when he was sick, she just showed up when he died in the hospital. I forgave her for that. However, I don't think I can forgive her this time. I don't think I would want to talk to her again. Am I wrong?

ok i have been "untrusted" by my parents ever since last year. Now they don't let me leave the house. I finally got them to let me hang out with my friend tomorrow. All we are doing is going to a volleyball game, hanging out at her house, and then going ice skating. However my mom believes we have our hearts set out to do something else. Because about a month ago i snuck out with some friends to meet up with some guys. So now she thinks i want to just do the same thing again. But i am really doing what i said i am doing. I just want them to trust me. Does anyone have any ideas on how i could get them to trust me again?

I received an email from a friend who forwarded an email from my brother. It seems he wants to reconnect; I don't know why. We haven't spoken or seen each other in 30 years. I'm not sure how I feel about it -- I'm leaning toward "not good."

My son has had these thing happen in the last two years, I was in a sledding accident, so one day we were out having fun the next i was gone for three weeks in the hospital, then we had to move. After I healed my daughter who was 19 years older than him was diagnosed with cervical cancer, he watched her throw up on a daily basis and lots of care revolved around her for over a year to which she passed away this past june, we then had to move again. The day his sister died he did not cry, My son is a child who does not do well with change, he likes to know a routine. We still are working on one at home being I also have my granddaughter who is 7. He also has gone from a private kindergaden to a public first grade. He is not doing well with the school rules of no touching other students and staying in his seat. He is very angry, I feel the school i aiming at me although my friends and family tell me i am doing nothing wrong. Also his dad is not involved in his life, md knows, etc

my parents are on my back about it, mostly to have kids, and i dont want to at all, to me their are to many kids out their who need us, and dont have anyone to love them, what about them, anyway im only 29, when i look at the way my brother treats his wife, and the kids are their to see it all, i just dont want to turn out like them, and my parents use to fight all the time, over little thing's, so i moves out when i was 18, i just dont want to end up like anyone in my family, cause i see what it has done to the rest of them, the women go through hell, so im turned off of getting married and haveing kids, i look after my brothers kids all the time, and i love kid,s but why wont my family just leave me alone

a girl you don't know asks you questions like "what grade are you in?" and "do you live around here" ? shes really fine and idk what does it mean? This happened at school it was after the bell ringed for lunch to end this is at highschool and i was gonna get a drink of water on the water fountain and then she asked me those questions and just walked off. A few weeks ago my ex-husbands new wife called me up and asked me if i was willing to take my child back from my first marriage, but the thing is i haven't seen the child in close to 9 yrs. What should i do? Say yeah ok i will welcome him into my new life after so long, and with MY new husband and children. Or should I say no, because I feel I don't really know him, and he doesn't know me either. Please give your honest answers.

By wrong things I mean. getting bad grades.stealing,lieing,cheating on games,running out of the house after dark without permission,
running with the wrong crowd that steals from him in our house,
and allot more.
Talking to them does not work, grounding exaserbates the problem.
taking away privileges also makes the behavior escalate.
threats of a scared straight program doesnt work. Nor does military school enrollment.

ok im a young mom yep i know i dont know who is my babys dady it could be on of 3 guys i dont know where he is and my mom dont know the hole scope one of the guys is tyler this guy i think i might know where to find him but i dont know if i should i think about him a lot and stuff but im not sure wat to do or say or if id want to be in a relashinship with him cause u know and i know that he would want to be apart of my sons life ans think its his help get back to me thanks kate
