Check the reason for it-maybe he wants one field of studies and he is pushed into another by you parents. Find out his interests and let hm pursue that branch of studies. Also, check the company he keeps for bad elements.

Why should he study at all? For making a living, -- a decent living-- make him become a flight attendant. He can earn Rs. 60,000 p.m. with Int'l Airlines, see places all over the world, meet the nicest of girls, and bring one to make a 'Bahu' for serving you in your old age!

As a teen i just can say either he been forced to take that sub,or try out to find the problem, and make him feel u r always there to see his interest first. Pls dont try to force, let him try to do what he want to. Go out for a vaccation for refreshment., and pl dont underestimate him, he knows what he wants to do in future.Thank u.

ask the famous questions who what where when and why and be very observant on any acting out behaviors and look into what kind of people he is hanging out with because something has definately drawed his interest away and you should be really concerned about this good luck to you

SOME PERSON DO NOT HAVE INTEREST IN BOOK KNOWLEDGE IT IS BETTER FOR THEM TO GO FOR TECHNICAL OR PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE NEED NOT WORRY ONLY DISCUSS WITH HIM AND CHANGE HIS LINE BECAUSE AT THE AGE 17 THESE BOTH FIELDS PLAY IMPORTANT ROLE IN LIFE.

first of all try to know the reason of his losing intrest in studies and then try to solve it to the best of intrest of your son and u will soon get him back on track.
