I cant even begin to name the books Ive read, that theyve read!!!! Hundreds! Berenstien bears, and Dr Seuss were the favorites because they rhymed and had moral and life lessons. I stayed away from much of the disney stuff in my kids early ages due to some actual violent themes, AlphaPets and Thomas the Train, Old Golden Classics, Children's prayers and Bible stories and other more adult stories such as Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
Tom Sawyer and so on. Henry Huggins...oh gosh...there are so many good books that help parents teach and kids learn. One favorite of my boys was a Dr Seuss story about The Pants With Nobody Inside Them. It was too funny! I liked to read their favorites over and over.. This taught them vocabulary and comprehension. ;)

The Monster at the end of this Book, starring Lovable, Furry Ole Grover! It was my favorite when I was a child and I passed that on to my kids :o)
