My grandma died a couple of years ago. She had alzhiemers and then had a stroke. After the stroke doctors said she had only days left. At the time my sister and I were away at college so when we heard we said we'd wait until she was gone to go up there. Well, days turned to weeks and the doctors tried to aid in her passing on with a morphine drift and everything but to no avail. Finally, while at work my sister said "she's waiting for us". So, we drove out the next day. We went to visit her and she was in a coma state by then and at one point she seized and her eyes opened and she looked as if she was looking up to Heaven, telling God she's ready. My sister whispered in her ear before we left that it was okay for her to go now. Later, that night my grandma passed on. Do you really think her spirit was waiting for us before it could moved on? How do you explain this?

My Brother has a 2 year old son and no wife or girlfriend to make a family with. Ever since he was little all he ever wanted was to have a family of his own, He is very good looking,( He has even modeled for Gap a few times) After his sons Mom left he had no choice but to move in with my Mother. He is so sad and lonely, How can I help? Plus about 5 years ago he accidentally ran a guy over and killed him, this also adds to the reason he is so sad all the time. Any suggestions? What if you and your spouse are seperated (2 months plus) and your six kids ( one his and one of his on the way ) want your attention and so does he?

What if your spouse tells you that you are spending too much time with your kids and he needs more of your attention?

What can I do? I have a troubled kid out of the six and he needs more parental supervision. My spouse doesnt like him tagging along. My kid doesnt like to tag along with us. But if I need to supervise my kid more then what am I to do?

The company where I work has just informed me that they will be canceling our medical benefits at the end of this month. What are some decent plans that I can get on my own that aren’t too expensive. I was paying $100.00 per month thru my job and would like to keep my premium around the same. I live in Wisconsin. Thanks for any advice.

I have been dating a wonderful man for 6.5 months. He has two adorable daughters aged 11 and 6. This weekend, he and my brother are going to play golf and I volunteered to watch the girls. I also have two girls aged 6 and 4. His younger daughter is very timid around me (she's still worried I am stealing her daddy from her) and I am wondering if anyone had any ideas of things that the 5 of us girls could do on a Saturday afternoon to help us all bond.......money is limited so please keep the suggestions inexpensive...Thanks!!!

My brother`s life was saved after a bad motorbike accident, only because, one guy, a specialist, came in off leave to operate on him. My youngest daughter would not be here today, if it was not for another consultant, doctor, who was called in to help, after her birth went terribly wrong, and the midwives needed him to come and take over. Only afterwards, do we realise, when the panic is over, how grateful we are, but don`t get to thank them, as they have gone back to resume their duty, expecting no thanks, and we don`t even know their name. I think these people are special, but it is just a job to them, anyone else agree with me?

Just looking to see if there are Moanes around the world. Loads of us in County Fermanagh in the North of Ireland. The geneology sites are of no use to me from what I've experienced.

My dad is very sick. He has myloma (blood cancer) and the doctor now has him on hospice care. My husband gets upset when I mention anything about my dad dying. It states he is states that he is going to be around for a long time and he feels like everyone is giving up on my dad. But, my thing is I'm not giving up on my dad. Yes, I want my dad to be around for a while. I want my dad to see me have kids, I didn't have a grandpa and I know he wants to be there for his grandchildren. For me to not be willing to let my dad go is not giving up on him, it's being unselfish. My dad is only a shadow of what he use to be. He is constantly in pain. So, for me to hold on would be incredibly selfish. I'd rather my dad pass on and be with our Father God and not have to suffer anymore than to be in constant pain everyday. I know he is ready to move on, he don't want to live in pain. So, what are your feelings about dying loved ones?

Family experts put out one book that says, "No matter what you do you are not going to change your partner." and then another book that says, "In order to change your kids you need to do this." So at what age is a person no longer abled to be changed?
OR
Why are we allowed to try to change our kids but not our partners?
