My brother grew up with my real and and his real mom. He is about 28 and he wants to get married. He is chubby but has a great job and great personality, of which, you wouldnt tell, since he is shy. So, the girls he chooses to date, are always SINGLE MOMS. I dont think thats a good idea becuz he wont be able to be a NEWLYWED in the sense that he has kids, so that would take the joy away.... and the kids are not even his. I grew up with a step dad and it was really hard on me and my little sister. How can I make him understand that he cant keep going for these EASY girls that will right away say yes to him? He has a problem with his self esteem and he was going to get married 8 months ago with a SINGLE MOM but called off the wedding but it seems like he is going backwards instead of forward..... any one else have similiar stories? I need advise

My Dad and I sometimes fist fight. We always talk about it before we fight, and during the fight if 1 of us start to bleed we quit.If 1 of us just gets tired he says alright lets take a break and we quit. After the fight we ain't never mad at each other and go back to doing whatever we was doing before we started fighting. Is that something that draws us closer or will it push us apart?

how stay at home moms have the hardest jobs in the world? I don't get it. I really don't. I work and I still have to also do everything that they do. Nobody cleans my house when I'm at work. Nobody drives my kids to their activities when I'm at work. Nobody has sex with my husband while I'm at work(at least not that I know of!). I work and then I come home and start my 2nd job! Am I jealous of them? Maybe a lilttle although I love having a career and the money that comes from it. But WHAT IS THE DEAL?!? Please tell me. Stay at home moms- what do you think? Working moms- what do you think?

Help guys, my mom always looks through my room, supposedly "cleaning" it and doing me a "favor"

in reality, i find homework, papers, letters from friends all missing or where they shouldnt be. I've told her to stop looking through my **** for years now but every now and then she just has to look through my stuff.
I'm sick of finding things misplaced or completely gone, and i cant' do anything about it since she can do whatever she wants while i'm gone at school.
what should i do? install a deadbolt?

I was trying to look her up threw yearbooks, of different high schools. I know if I see the name Estoria, it would be her because thats not a common name. She don't know that I'm her sister. Our father died in 1964. And I just found out about him. I have talk to some of his brothers, but none of them know now to reach her. She lives in Detroit Michigan. If there is anyone than can help me I will be forever grateful. She is afro american. Everybody said that we look alike. And I thought all these years 45 exact, that I was the only child. I would love nothing better than to find her. I'm comming into some money next month. And if I don't find her by then I,m going to hire a privite detective. She would have graduated around 1980- 1982. Is there something else I can do to find her? I really need someone to help me. Whoever reads this, if you have any suggestions please tell me. Thank you. Say you are living with your parents and your mother and your wife are both against each other, who would you support.
I'm in such a situation and I can't find out on whose side is justice.
I'm just saying if you were in such a situation where both have equal faults on their side, who would you support.
Your mother, who sacrificed so much for you and been with you frrom the beginning or your wife, with whom you're going to live for the rest of your life?
I want to what you would do if you were in my place where both have their faults

My new sister in law has some issues. She had a bad experiance in high school and has since then (she is now 25) refused to graduate highschool - although got a GED, is OCD, cant hold a job for more then a month, drinks heavily, is a cutter and does drugs. Her family has done everything but throw her out. I say throw her out, show some tough love. But her mom, doesn't have the strength and refuses. Her stepdad is threatening to leave unless her mom does something. My husband (her brother) and I have offered to take her in (we live in the city) but she is terrified and says she will be mugged along with a thousand other excuses. Her parents even offered to give us money to help out. But she still refuses. All she does now is lives in the family's attic, watches tv and smokes/drinks all day. I am not really sure what to do, I want to help. But don't know where to start. Please, if anyone knows anything about a situation like this, can offer advice, please help...I love my new family..

I was born in 1967 to Katherine Washatka and John Rambo. At the present time I am trying to put together my family tree. Because of mistakes that I made several years ago I humiliated myself and my fathers side of the family. I want to apologize to them and try to mend some old wounds that I opened like a can of stale worms. My Grandmothers name is Raynell Rambo and I have a brother and sister. John Matthew Rambo and Melane Rambo. Their mothers name is Patty and their Stepfathers name is Don. Their Last name I believe is Lawrence now. If any of them or anyone who knows them reads this, I do hope you will give me an opportunity to make amends for my stupidity. I was a very angry young woman at the time and I had alot of inner anger towards someone that ended up being taken out on everyone else around me. Please contact me at this email address if you should get this message. zkhatttsmeeu396741271@yahoo.com. Not looking for a date so no crank emails please.

I was expected to watch my husbands kids when they visit and spent more time with them than he did. I was ready to have my own children but he made excuses all the time why we should wait. We originally agreed to have our own children once we were married but I feel he decieved me. Now I am preggo and he's been so pissed about it. Am I wrong for not wanting to watch his kids anymore after the way he's been acting toward me? It's not like I was getting much help or appreciation from him.

I have a cousin, who I love and adore. She came down from Colorado to Texas during the summer to escape her mother—who’s losing her mind. She integrated into the family and we miss her so much.

Now that she’s back home, her parents are abusing her. Her mother is never home, her father is rarely, but when they are, all hell breaks loose. She gets in trouble all of the time for the dumbest of things and the punishments are severe.

She left her stuff on the counter a couple of times in the bathroom, and now her mother only allows her to go to the one in the basement—which is dark and full of spiders—of which she is terrified.
Then she gets a call from her school. She hasn’t been turning assignments in on time (imagine that! A mother that nuts that also makes her practice the flute for an hour every morning); so, she’s distracted-more like terrified. She “lied” about not turning in a homework paper—you see, she lies because she’s scared of the way her mother would react given the truth; and by the way, her mother is a habitual liar and going for a doctorate in psychology. She compares her daughter to the delinquents she works with at a social services place, and these people have killed family pets and beat up mothers and stuff. So, for “lying” she cannot be upstairs or on the main level. She has to stay in the basement all of the time and sleep there.

But now she’s threatening even more, and she’s serious. Next time she’s not even allowed in the house. She will have to sleep outside. And then she’s going to shave her head. And this woman is serious. She does not make idle threats

This little girl is precious, intelligent and in the 7th grade. I want to hold her so badly and tell her that everything will be all right, but when is the time to intervene? Her dad just backs up her mom. And she’s adopted; so, we wouldn’t get her—she’d go into foster care or something. What do you do?

I recently told my parents that I was moving a few hours away to be with my boyfriend. I am a single mom, so my parents are using that as the reason why I shouldnt move. My BF is an amazing man, with a steady head on his shoulders. He adores my children, and adores me as well. My childrens father is barely in thier lives and I know my BF would step up and be that man in thier lives. I know this is the man I will marry, but no one in my life is happy for me AT ALL. Most of them are not talking to me. On the other had his family is soooo amazing and they cant wait for me to move. He is buying a home and has a great job, and so I wont ask him to move to be with me ( although I know if I did, that he would pick up and leave everything for me) How do I get my family to respect my decision? The odd thing is that they like him. I am so hurt by all of this, and dont feel like I am doing anything wrong. I know my heart and know in my mind what is right for me and my children..HELP

i just had a little accident. and am confuse as to who is at fault
heres what happen: i pulled into this parking lot to drop off a friend, the lot is pretty small theres only enough space for you to back up when parking. i was backing up to get out. this other lady was coming out of the parking (by all this i did not see her, nor she did me) am backing up .....next thing i know we hit each other, ofcourse she in pointing fingers at me. but i was like well i had the right of way since she is parked, she should have looked both ways before pulling any further. now i dont know what to do i really dont wanna go thru the hastle of the insurance deal(we got each others info.) but i guess am gonna have to, i got most of the damage, she just got a cratch that could be (she says) buffed out. by the looks of my car they are gonna have to take out the bumper repaint and place it back properly (its a bit outta place)
please YOU let me know...was it my fault?
