I was trying to look her up threw yearbooks, of different high schools. I know if I see the name Estoria, it would be her because thats not a common name. She don't know that I'm her sister. Our father died in 1964. And I just found out about him. I have talk to some of his brothers, but none of them know now to reach her. She lives in Detroit Michigan. If there is anyone than can help me I will be forever grateful. She is afro american. Everybody said that we look alike. And I thought all these years 45 exact, that I was the only child. I would love nothing better than to find her. I'm comming into some money next month. And if I don't find her by then I,m going to hire a privite detective. She would have graduated around 1980- 1982. Is there something else I can do to find her? I really need someone to help me. Whoever reads this, if you have any suggestions please tell me. Thank you. Donna M. Carpenter

i am looking for a few people too.
i tried http://www.ancestry.com
but i only got some clues and they want $30 for a more in depth search.
this i used because i knew the child's name , but not the mama's married name, etc,
i tried yahoo people search and i got transferred to "intellius"
right away, and they want $8 for one search,
$14 for a month of searches.
i am afraid it won't work but i think I'll try that soon.
you can also try searching www.whitepages.com
or similar sites

go to yahoo and type in "phone numbers" which should bring up different engines where you can type in a name... either first or last... and look through either just 1 city... if theyve ever lived in that city... the state... or you can search the entire nation... i would try that... i have to do that kind of a thing to make sure people are real when they enquire about purchasing puppies from us and that they live where they say they do... it should work for you too... thats also how my adopted sister found her real brother... good luck... it may take awhile... but have faith

Private detectives could do a much better job than you ever could (hell, it's a good chunk of their work). The cost would be about $150 and would take about 3 days
