I am completely against abortion. I'm only 15, so naturally I don't have any children. But i see my nieces and nephew and other children every day, and I always wonder why anybody would want to kill those innocent little children. Children are a blessing, they bring the greatest amount of joy just to watch them grow and develop. Why do people kill them? And i don't want to hear anything on how a fetus isn't alive or any of that crap, cause i believe that at the moment of conception, if you have an abortion it is murder! So explain to me why it is okay for abortion to occur.

Hi, I am 21, so I am obviously not a little child anymore that needs full parental support, but I am in a dillema. I just graduated from community college and I am transferring to USC. Up until now I have paid for all school costs, in addition to the help of financial aid. USC though, is obviously much more expensive and I'm only a waitress. Part of me is frusterated that my parents never saved $ for me because most of my friend's parents have, and my schooling is so important to me. My parents are divorced and my mom has been ill and was a single mom, and has no money to give me, so I don't expect anything from her. My father on the other hand has a pretty good job with UPS and his parents ARE LOADED. (but stingey) I feel as though my father should help me out with $5,000 of my tuition for the year, especially considering he did not raise me and was an abusive drunk for most of my childhood. I feel this is the least he could do for me. Do you think that is fair to ask him?

My grandpa is in a coma and has been for 3 hours. He's already 71 and fading quick. I can't really say that I love him because I don't really know him but I DO know that when he dies, I'll get 25K in Verizon stock, which pays a pretty good dividned. I know it sounds bad to ask about euthanasia but it seems like the logical thing to do is pull the plug and get the stock certificates put in my name. If he's a vegetable, he's only gonna spend his money on the hospital bills and I won't get anything. But if we pull the plug, I can finally get a Dodge Charger. What should we do?

i've recently seen my dad for the first time (tho i haven't spoken to him, and don't know if he even knew who i was). I have been trying to avoid him, as if he had any interest in me he would have shown it by now, but should i continue to avoid him, till he leaves the area again, or face my biggest fear? Please someone offer an opinion! thank you

I recently got married to my 3 yrs old sons bio-father. He was not around for the first 2 1/2 yrs of our boys life. But here we are now, married and it seems that they are both jealous over me with each other. Sometimes even mean to each other!! Our son rarely says "hi" to dad when he comes home from work & only tells him "I love you dad" when my husband or I tell him to. It really hurts dads feelings. Dad has been with us now for almost a year and our saon hasn't warmed up much at all. This is very frustrating for dad and dad is starting to take this all personal. How do break this barrier between them? my husband acts as if our son is suppose to treat him the way his other 3 kids do. His other 3 kids jump for joy when they see their daddy but not our son!! Our son tries to run off upstairs to see Granny or runs to mommy as if he's scared of dad and he won't go anywhere with dad unless he for certain that mom is going too! & sometimes that isn't even enuf! He puts on a big scene!

Think about it. Here's what happens when you let families raise children:
1. People have kids that they can't afford to support
2. Abusive or neglectful people, even violent criminals, are not prevented from having children
3. There is no control on population growth
4. Parents have to spend 24 hours a day being responsible for kids (and a lot are not responsible enough to be trusted with this)
5. Parents don't have to be qualified to raise children, or even know the first thing about parenting
6. Even good parents allow their emotions to interfere with a child's well-being
7. Bad kids go undisciplined

My parents were married for 10 years, my mother divorced him and kept the 2,000 square foot house. I remained living with my mother. I was 10 when they divorced.

My dad moved out and used his money from the divorce settlement to buy a small condo and I moved in with him when I was 16.

My mother sold her house to move upstate alone and had no place to live while looking for a new house. My father invited her to live with us for two weeks. During this time my father died suddenly from immune system failure.

My mother remained living in my dad's condo since I was underaged. She kept the money from her sold house in the bank and paid the $500 mortgage fee for my dad's condo till I was 18.

She was appointed admistrator of my father's estate since I was the only child and he did not have a will. She went behind my back and drug out probate and demanded the estate pay her for loss of equity since she never bought a new homea and lived in the condo instead.

A mother can be a great mother and a father can be a great father but neither one can be the other. Some I hear think there is no difference between the two.

My parents divorced when I was 10 after 11 years of marriage. My mom initiated the divorce and her and her family still blame everything on my father. My mother is an angel according to her family. My parents divorce was 15 years ago and my father died 8 years ago.

My wife went to get a pedicure by my mother's friend. And the lady said all these mean things about my father that my mother had said. This friend didn't even know my father!

My mother said my father flirted with everyone, he was controlling, impatient, not a good father, two faced, didn't have a job and didn't have enough money to send me to private school, etc.

My father has been dead for 8 years and she is STILL talking bad about a dead man who cannot defend himself.

I just don't want to see her anymore, what is her problem?

The other night I went into my basement knowing my mother and "her boyfriend" were down there. They invited me earlier to come down and watch a movie with them. I already held a large grudge against this man and when I went down, I caught them having sex. I know it shouldn't be a big deal but they heard me and they didn't stop and her apology was fake and crappy. She expects so much of me but makes herself out to be a whore and the man has moved into my house and taken over. He doesn't talk to me, but he tells her what to do basically. I feel like an alien in my own house and I'm thinking about moving out, even though I'm young but at my age it has been done before. Everytime I see her I just feel like vomiting and I feel so very vengeful and I feel that if I owned a shotgun, I wouldn't kill them, but I would shoot them where it hurts. I feel as if I'm over reacting but it seems like I no longer have a mother. This isn't the first time that this has happened, what should I do?

I keep seeing these questions on here that talk about these horrible situation women are in with their husband/
boyfriends. Am I the only women that actually married a man that treats me like a queen? Is anyone else married to, who in their opinion, is the greatest, smartest, handsomest man in the whole world?

When I was young I had a great relationship with my dad. When I started growing up, about age 13, he went cold and the relationship went bad. He became distant, we hardly spoke and that's how it stayed. I left home for university when I was 18 and he didn't call me once. He seemed embarrassed and ashamed to be around me. I always had a good relationship with my mum in the meantime. My mum and him divorced while I was at uni, and from the moment they separated he called me every day and now he wants the perfect relationship that fathers and daughters should have. I find it so hard to be close to him now - I feel I lost him years ago. I feel selfish but I'm 27 now and I have learned to live without a father figure - what do you think?

My daughter is 15 (16 in two months) and has never really knew her dad.She came to me yesterday and said she wants to see him, but no one knows where he is. Me and him divorced when my children were young, he used to come and see them every weekend, then just stopped showing up.
She now wants to see him, she is due to start sixth form in september, plays guitar, wants to work in music promotion, done really well in school and he knows nothing about it.
What would be the best solution for this?
Should i help her find him or leave it to her? I cant afford to play for the services that trace family members so im stuck there, she is getting deserate now and is thinking her dad hates her which i know is not true.

Any one have any ideas?
Thanks!
Roxy
