What makes abortion okay?

Question

I am completely against abortion. I'm only 15, so naturally I don't have any children. But i see my nieces and nephew and other children every day, and I always wonder why anybody would want to kill those innocent little children. Children are a blessing, they bring the greatest amount of joy just to watch them grow and develop. Why do people kill them? And i don't want to hear anything on how a fetus isn't alive or any of that crap, cause i believe that at the moment of conception, if you have an abortion it is murder! So explain to me why it is okay for abortion to occur.

what ever happened to giving unwanted children up for adoption?

i understand if the woman's life is in danger, or if the pregnancy came about through rape or incest. but to just kill a baby just because you don't want it, makes no sense to me.

i'm not judging anyone, that's God's job, I'm just curious at to why people think abortion is okay. I'm going to be an adult one day, and I'd like to be able to make logical decisions, and yes, my mother knows I'm on the computer asking this question.

Hi, Whisper. I urge you to think a little more about justifying abortion in the case of rape. Remember, the baby has no control over the circumstances of his or her conception. You wouldn't kill a one-year-old because her daddy is a rapist, right? Then why is it okay to kill the child in the womb because of the crime of her father? The baby hasn't done anything to deserve death. Plus, abortion only brings so much more trauma and grief to the woman who has been raped. Rape: you do not rob a child of its life for the sin of the father. Very seldom does a rape produce a child. The system tends to protect itself.

Medical well being: Only in the case of an ectopic pregnancy, both mother and child will die if the fallopian tube ruptures. Other than that, if the person is that ill they wouldn't be able to get pregnant. Medical technology has become so advanced that a mother can carry to term under extraordinary circumstances, for example, in a vegetative state.

Incest: This is a touchy subject. I feel that 9 months is so short a period in ones life and to give that child to a loving home is a far more humane act. Why complicate the feelings of guilt further by adding a brutal murder to the list. There are wonderful counsellors out there that will help young women to carry this child and give her back her dignity. The same as in a rape situation.

Unwanted children: THEY ARE NEVER UNWANTED, there are families out there praying every night for a baby to love.

After working in an abortion clinic for over 5 years there are a lot of reasoons why it is ok. The child may end up being worse off if it lived, the mother could be worse off if she had a child, there are things wrong with the fetus and so on and so forth. adoption isn't the answer. Look at how many children are waiting to be adopted and they are not even wanted. How fair is that? I think if a woman chooses to have an abortion regardless of her situation it is her right. she will be the one that has to live with that decision and as it says in the bible you shall not judge others as you will be judged yourselves. Saying a woman is making a mistake because of what she chooses is not your right.

You are against abortion because you don't understand abortion. .As you get older you may understand or you may never understand abortion. And as long as you don’t preach that abortion is against God’s will you will not be a sinner. And that is OK.
I can explain abortion to any person able to understand. I cannot explain it to a Dog, Cat, or closed mind.
God is the inventor of abortion. Presumably God uses miscarriage as abortion to expel from a woman's body a fetus that he chooses not to bring to term. God does this service for all animals, not just humans. And God loves these animals and man when he chooses to abort their fetus. For man, God is capable of giving eternal life in exchange for any child, fetus or man that he takes. This is his eternal love for us.
God arranged things such that no man lives longer than 150 years, then his time is up and he is also offered eternal life. So God offers eternal spiritual life in exchange for death.
And God chooses which fetuses will be aborted. God has infinite power and can choose to eliminate the possibility of abortion and force the birth of any child he chooses. He does this with other animals and he states in the Bible that he is an all powerful God. He is that powerful.
If you abort a child that God wants to live, he can simply transfer that life to another person. It does not mean you made a wrong choice or that God must live with that Choice. I don't think God would allow the next coming to be stopped by an abortion that he condones.
Can a person commit an abortion against God's will? Yes. And it would be sin committed under our Free Will.
Evidence shows that many miscarried fetuses are malformed. And others are perfect. So we know that God does not use simply malformation as the basis for abortion. God must use other information. For example, God may know that a person is simply not ready for a child. Or the person may not be able to support a child. Or the child may have been born out of wedlock. Or that another person should raise the soul that he has placed in one person. And there are thousands of other reasons that God may have chosen abortion or miscarriage. One thing is certain; God did not choose "life". Some of us will die before birth and for none of us will live after 150 years of living.
What God teaches through abortion is that there are reasons for man to have abortion. And in the long run God teaches that these reasons make the world a better place.
I believe that a person should pray to God if there is any chance that an abortion is needed for any of the reasons above, or no reason. If God says that it is right, then it cannot be wrong. And anyone that says otherwise is going against God's will. Simply ask yourself if all humans that were ever born were still here today, would the Earth be a better place. I think not. Death is a part of God's plan and it makes his Kingdom a better place. As does eternal life for those who have served God’s purpose.
I hope that you are able to understand the need and purpose of abortion and will not fall into the beliefs of the false prophets that preach the Pro-Life anti God line.

The girl just doesn't want to go thru the pregnancy, think it'll ruin her life, family has a problem with it, bf has a problem with it, and other similar things. But I still don't think it's right, they should at least put the baby up for adoption. If you know someone who wants to have an abortion you should give them a copy of this, I think it'll make them think twice but I'm not sure:

So, to avoid the *consequence*, stop the *cause*, ie Contraceptive measures, or not having sex.

Cause-and-Effect, that is the law of the universe.

If you have sex and make no contraceptive measures, the consequence is to have to bear the responsibility of bringing the child up, no matter if it is a blessing or a curse to you.

Well then if that is the way you feel about it, make sure you always take precautions to never get yourself in such a situation. Never judge, or try to...until you've been in someone else's shoes. And no, for the record, Ive never had one either, I couldn't personally do that, myself. But realise enough people sometimes do find themselves in unfortunate situations, they do not know what to do about, and perhaps, for them, it is their only choice. Regardless, it is not up to anyone, but the indivudal to say, what it is they can, or can not do to their body.

I'm sayin bad life because the parent doesnt really want the child becuase he/she cant support it. The baby would be born into a bad life and be influence by bad things. It also might suffer the poor life its been born too
