First my mom died when I was 16. Then my dad died when I was 26. My fondest memories of them are the way they unconditionally loved me no matter what and gave me room to growup and be my own person.

my daughter is 15. she doesn't live with me because of some trouble she got into last year. she is coming to stay the weekend with me. i am scared of her, and i don't trust her. i do love her very much. i would feel very guilty if i said she couldn't come, she is my daughter, i don't want her to feel rejected by her parents. i have to walk around on egg shells when i am with her, trying not to make her mad or upset her. does anyone know how to handle this, or have been thru this?

I know a lot of this depends on the maturity of the child, but what is NORMAL? I'm not to this point with my kids yet, but I was talking to my sister-in-law about it, and she said that there is hot debate over this subject. I know I was babysitting my infant cousin all alone when I was twelve years old, but that was a different era, I suppose.

An evidence that a man is enlightened can be seen in his attitude towards humanity when love becomes the reason why we exist.

I'm a perfectly normal 16 yearold girl and last night I have to admit that my whole life changed. I walked into my parents bedroom and found them "doing the deed". Ok, they were surprised and I walked out of the room calmly. About 10 minutes later, my mom came in and asked me what I wanted..but I ignorned her. I couldnt sleep the whole night. What am I gonna do now...I cant even look at them in the eye!

Whatever the man does it is outside the wife, like buying a land, car, laying a foundation of his house, having official tours until a day to the journey to tell the wife, taking a leave without a concrete agreement between the two, in sort keeping everything to himself, no conversation etc.

Our family has 4 independent, responsible children working in their chosen careers or in college, and 1 irresponsible, lazy, son that continues to have children and pop in and out of jail for various petty crimes. This is the oldest of the five, he's 26, in jail, two children (with an equally awful mother) with another on the way from another aquaintance. There are support groups for parents raising their grandchildren because this is such a common practice. So sad. Any ideas?

So I have this step mother who has been with my dad longer than I have known him and when I moved here to be with him everything was fine but more and more it started to turn into a "Cinderella" lifestyle if you will. She obviously dosent like me and doesnt want my dad and i to have a good relationship. Why does she hate me so? Is there anything I can try that I havent? I have tried a lot of things and nothings worked.

My brother has a very bad drug addiction. He's been stealing money from me and trying to take my car without my permision. Since I wouldnt let him take the car hes threatening to call the cops and accuse me of doing something that I didn't even do. Hes currently on bond for some drug charges and awaiting trial. Should I send him to rehab till he goes back to jail or should I pull his bond so he can start doing his time now instead of waiting for trial.
