I'm home for the summer, if I didn't have to, I wouldn't be here because we just don't get along. And, I know it's my fault for not changing the way she wants and being stressed. She bites, hits, scratches, kicks, etc. when she gets mad.She screams at me and I try to stop her by grabbing her arms, but I lose my temper and start yelling too. I didn't use to "fight" back in the past, but recent years, I don't know what's wrong with me. Just now, it happened again. I think I bruised her leg while trying to protect myself from her kicks(she was on the sofa, i was on the floor). She said i did that with my knees. I didn't mean to though. It only gets worse when I try to stop her, so I know I shouldn't, at least not physically. And I hate that I don't have more control. Any suggestions on how I can curb my reaction so that I can just let it blow over? It's not an everyday thing that she gets angry with me. But, I don't want to hurt her, even if it is unintentional.
