Ok, I asked a question about my mom yesterday and I just wanted to clarify, I have my own place but you see 2 years ago my mom's man contibuted in her losing her job and her house and she left the state with him. When she came back last year w/o him she lived with me but left 6 mos ago to be with him when he came back to GA. They don't have an apartment b/c he doesn't really want to work (his career goals are working at Checkers and he's 36!) and my mom's credit isn't so great and I'm just afraid that once she starts making more money on her job he'll just leave her once she's broke and in debt and she'll be out on the street.

he needs to get his act together.if he is gunna have anything to do with your mom he needs to get a good job,get a house,get a car,and just clean up!you should tell him and your mom that he needs to get all together.if he was dating my mom i wouldn't leave anything out.id tell him to get cleaned up and he shoudnt have anything to do with my mother if he cant!

How old is Mom? Sweetheart, the way you're explaining your situation should be the way you should confront your mom. Not with an attitude but with alot of love and respect.. trust me she'll admire your candor (honesty) Sometimes us Moms (me included) forget our age and think we can go back instead of forward and that's not going to happen.

Put up some boundaries. Tell her she has a timetable to get out. And then cut her off. If she wants to follow a loser, that's her problem. This is often reversed in families, with loser children knowing they can keep coming home.

Hey if she wants to live with you and your ok wit it then let HER but tell her he needs to find his own place to stay let her know u love her and u are there for her but you just simply can't aford to have him living w/ you.
If she gets mad she will get over it if your mom is fine with her freeloading bf thats her business but U don't have to support him

Wow, she must really love this knuckle head to stay with him through all that, you should really get all your friends, and any church help to give her a sit down talk.
don't let her know you brought all your and her friends together for that reason, plan some kind of girl party.
