who just graduated that her life choices are making her head down the wrong highway of life? He dad (my brother) died back in 2004, and he always bragged how she was going to college and become a vet or a lawyer. Now that she has graduated she wants to work a 2 bit job and live with her no ambition bf. He father would roll over in his grave if he knew what she was doing. How do I talk to her?

My x husband and i share an 11 year old boy. He has primary residency. (which means he mainly lives with his Dad) His dad is ok with our son riding his bike all over the tourist town we live in. The town is fairly small, but it is a tourist town. So anyways our son seems to think its just dandy for him and his friend to swim out over their heads unsupervised. (his father is working and i cannot go out everyday due to my napping toddler). So My big thing was don't go swimming with out an adult. He keeps swimming.Without an adult. He and his friend even had to be rescued in the Alantic Ocean because they took a small boat out. They didn't even have oars. When he comes to visit me I have rules. I say check in every hour and a half. They didn't follow that rule. It had been 6 hours b4 i heard anything. I called his dad and he didn't know where he was either. I feel like his dad gives him too much freedom. I feel like if he can't follow my rules mabey he shouldn't come over. What to do?

she will be 3 in a few days. if i ask her if she wants candy i don't need to ask twice. but when it comes to sitting down to eat or coming in from outside or if i tell her no to any of her desires she really freaks out and screams full force. sometimes she even tries to hit me. it is hard because i don't spank her so i end up raising my voice. timeout doesn't work because she will make herself scream until she pukes. i have just started to use disapline in the last few months. before that i let her do whatever she wanted as long as she was not in danger. have i waited to long? is there still hope?

OK, this guy has stolen her car three times, stolen money from her on several ocassions and has gotten married on her twice. They been involved for 15 years (I'm 20) and I have hated him for the past 10. He doesn't treat my mom right and I don't wanna see my mom get hurt. Also, my mom has to be at work at 10 am and he has to be to work at 6 am so he drops her off at work at 5 am!!!!! Does anyone understand this, because I sure as heck don't. Can someone who has been in this or a similar situation give advice, PLEASE!!!!

she's 21 and use's the money to give our kid's everything they want but I dont want my kids to go with out anything I've already stopped going out to save money and I only get anything new if I really need what else can I do?

It is to show to my daughter, as she is curious and is interested in finding out about mulitple births, and how the girls all look alike but are totally different in character etc. I cannot remember their surname, and have had no luck searching for a site linked specifically to them. I remember these little girls more than most because they were very famous at the time of their birth, and on their first day at school etc. They turned 16 recently, and there was an article in Woman magazine by their Mum, who spoke of each girl and the kind of woman she was becoming. Very interesting. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

i've tried everything with him. Here's a list, and the reason why it won't work.
Friends: They're all busy, i can't contact them.
Camp: I couldn't find one at the right price, or right location that i wanted to go to.
Reading: I already read 100-200 pages a day! (this is true and i'm proud of him for it :-)
Watch TV: it's boring
Go on the computer: It's boring.
What can I do?

She's having serious problems with my Dad. And I feel its killing her and making her fade away from reality. She just had a nervous breakdown the other night, and we had to bring her to the ER. I felt so scared and me and my brothers didn't know what to do. I know she is stressed and everyone else is stressed out. I sometimes get irritated because she sleeps in my room and I have to sleep on the floor lately. I just don't like not having my privacy.

What can I do to help my Mom?

I was NOT snooping or prying. I simply went in to shut his window before I went out and found 3 empties on the desk and 1 on the floor. Is it strong? Will drinking 4 cans close together make him drunk? I can't tell how long it took him to drink them. It could have been 1 a day. I don't know. He had one today before he went out to a mates house and he said he was bringing some with him. Also he is 20 so he is old enough to drink them but I simply thought he shouldn't be drinking alone in his room. Am I over reacting?

my son just left home at 16 he has got a job with his dad and has moved in with him i have brought my son up on own since he was five after me and his dad seperated and we have been good mates i miss him like mad my partner does not understand and says im odd and should enjoy my freedom but i feel a bit down a am i being a overbearing mum
