OK everyone usually has a junk drawer. I have a small basket on top of microwave, it has junk..pens,rubber bands, paper clips, business cards, stamps, screws,nails, small kids toys, mail,parts I dont know what it goes to... Where is your junk & what's in it?

I keep my junk in an ancient pythos. That's a large clay jar that was used to store wine, oil, seeds, grains, etc. Mine is black, and decorated with ring lines and waves. It's a very beautiful object, and looking at it I travel back in time. I meet the potter, his or her family, and all the people who treasured the jar until the day when they decided to bury it together with a loved one, maybe.
An expert who looked at it thought it might be 3000 years old. I got it for 20$ at the market. It holds a bookmark with a drawing of a pomegranate tree, a magpie and a peacock. There is also the dried up shaft of a poppy flower, a shell, a few pencils, and many small rocks collected over the years from the beach.

I have a set of metal drawers that used to hold sewing patterns, in a fabric store. Its in my shed. Its got some tools, old road pegs, nuts and bolts, photography gear and secret maps .

My 4 junk drawers have photos, pens, paperclips, tacks, odd marbles, matchbooks,string, bread twisties, cookie cutters,hmm, hundreds of other items.

I have an extra closet in the hall that is full of old stuff that people have given me that was just too ugly, boxes, old mail, etc
