Last saturday night, a lot happened. but to sum it up, my dad was drinking and started getting abusive. I'm the one who called the police to try to make it stop and he's been in jail ever since. I feel responsible for him being in jail and i wish i could take it back. i dont know if i should feel sorry or if i did the right thing. Do you have any advice?

He is a great father and a great man, who made a huge mistake!
Things have been GREAT once we started repairing the damage he caused and I have no reason to beleive he's doing anything anymore nor will he. He really wants me to be his wife.

My brother-in-law beat his wife almost to death and went to jail for 1yr. Before he went, he had my husband, his brother, put his name on his bank account so we could pay his bills for him and buy his daughter c-mas & b-day presents. Now that he's out, he's sueing us for that money even though we have receipts. We go to court in about 2 wks. My husband has disowned his brother. He's also disowned his mother & other brother that are helping him. Any suggestions on how to handle this situation?

Maybe what I mean is when he gets home all he wants to do is go to sleep or watch tv. That is all good since I know he just got off work and wants to relax. But it would be nice to go and do something together as a family. Is there any activities that we can do when he gets home rather than watch tv or go to sleep. I was just curious.

My daughter recently had a blow up with me, she hates me because I wont let her date a boy who is not nice to her. I backed off for a while to see if she would choose to dump him. Not! Then I found out he was taking advantage of her in sexual ways (he has been around the block a few times.) so I put my foot down and told her NO MORE! Like I said she hates me now and is choosing to live with her dad. My daughter hasnt visited him in months! How can I get my daughter to realize I am not the bad person here.

While I was out of the country My seemlingly wonderful child ran away from her step dad and "fell in Love" she has become sexualy activive. My guts tell me to keep a tight lease on her but I have been warned this might make her want to run even more. I have her out of town with her father at this time and she belives The law will come down on her boy friend because he is 16. unfortinately her dad is nothing but a big kid himself and will not even talk to her about what she did He just wants them to have fun together.

i have a sister i use to be real close with. she use to have problems with her boyfriend and complain to me about him. so i tried to be a sister and offer her my help and a shoulder to cry on. i dont like her bf at all and think that she has to kiss his but for what reason i dont know. he treats her like crap in plain english and her kids and not treated fairly by him. she is way to beautiful for him and its like she takes his mental abuse and i tried to help her get out of it but know it back fired on me. she dont talk to me or see her niece and nephew anymore. its like she pushed me her own blood away over this loser. what ever happend to blood beeing thicker than water. i am so hurt and feel like i will never here from her again or feel like he might hurt her and i cant do anything to help her. what do i do to get my sister back.
