Why do you need one? Birth certificate for old people are not mandatory. Ask the local body, normally it is the municipal auhtority of your town that issues birth and death certificate. If thay have some education certificate, that may help. Or may be an affidavit in the court. Municpal authority is the only source who can tell you what you need to do.

First of all I believe you can look it up on the internet as to how to go about it. Try putting in BIRTH CERTIFICATES, then it might ask for what state or country this person is from. You will always have to go to where they were born and give them all the information as to who their parents were. You can pick up a form at the court house where ever you live. Hope this helps, good luck! Kat

get them born here, LOL,
if they are Indians by birth you can approach the local muicipal authourities for a certificate, This is usually issued by the applicant swearing an affidavit to that effect. or the village panchayat certifying it.

You may go to your nearest municipal hall in town and ask what you are supposed to do and the staff there may even tell you in what government office you have to inquire for such thing and tell you what more you have to do.
