Actually, I don't think this is a school's responsibility. Parents should teach their children about credit and child rearing. Unfortunately, not many parents these days have those skills themselves.

YES!! More than that, with so many children from broken or single parent homes, there are many "life issues" that need to be taught, if not in school, somewhere. Things like respect for other peoples property, how to act in public, how to dress for a job interview, just to name a few.

Some places do have parenting classes. I haven't seen ones about credit though. They could offer them, but I don't think they should be required.

Child rearing - I';m not sure. Credit, definitely people should be taught how it works and how it can become a burden.

They do have them. There is a major in college for that "Family and life studies."
People who want to do other things with thier life never have time to take these classes.
