My dad is kinda different. He wants to know everuthing in my life. Personally, i dont want to tell him. My dad has changed from fussing over everything, to being a very calm person. Dont ask how he done, long story, but he didnt do anything illegal, i just dont feel like typing that up here. Anyway, he works swing shift, so anything i do it has to be worked around his schedule. So if i want to hang around friends i am use to going around his schedule. Here recently he just has told me that i can go by myself to the movies if my grades are up. Shoud i tell my dad whats going on in my life?

My grandma died last Sunday and I was really sad and messed up for the first 2 or 3 days but I know she was suffering and is better off now. Work gives me 3 days bereavement, but I can work through the day without a breakdown and feel pretty normal. If I was at home, I would just play with the dog or watch TV or something.

Is it right for me to take the days they give me away from work even though I don't need them to grieve and would just be using them like vacation days?

i just asked for advice on what books to read before having a child and all but one answer was something on the order of: ''don't read books because children don't come with instructions'' or ''books won't help... give them love, you can't raise a kid by a book'' or ''read the bible'', is anybody else taken seriously here? Or are there people that actually raise kids with a manual somewhere and thats why this would be a concern?
