I don't understand why its such a controversial subject. Personally I used to do some, I was really into Ecstasy, and I was starting to get into meth. I cant really say I was a better person back then though, its weird, one time when I was really stoned with a friend, he told me "dude, you ever notice that when your stoned, you become really selfish?", after I started smoking meth I started to realize what he said. I dropped out of school, and kept the crap *** job, I had just to buy more of whatever was available. Kind of hit me pretty hard when I became sober for a few days and realized that I somehow racked up about 10 grand in student loans with my parents name on them. So I ended up taking about 300 Tylenol and a box cutter to my wrists, those marks are still there today, I'm wondering if they will ever go away.

You can either not do them, or do them, its your choice.

I don't think the hard drugs are okay, but I think that hard liquor is far worse than pot any day. I have never been so high on pot that I could not function. I think that the government needs to reevaluate the drugs that are out there. I have personally never heard of someone getting high and had an accident that killed either their-selves or someone else. I maybe wrong on that. But, it's just what I know.

When I was student in Psychology, the teacher explained to us the impact of drug on the brain, this way :
You take a pan, you pour some oil, you fry a brain.
Could you get back the brain as it was before being fried ?

I think drugs are terrible the take away your life. Soon your job, is gone, your house is gone, your family is gone, then you are dead. If not actually you might as well be cuz what do you have left. But pot is not a drug honey. LOL It is a sanity maintainer

I quit about a year ago. I had done a variety for about 7 years. Now I find it pointless. I guess it was the feeling of being high.

I think drugs can destroy your life. What's worse then that? Who want's a coked out mother? Who wants a crack head father? Who wan't a heroin addicted brother or sister that steals everything under the kitchen sink? Who wan't a weeded uncle that never remembers your name?

Think about it, there's a reason it's illegal. They are very harmful to yourself, people you love and complete strangers that are unfortunate enough to come in comtact with you.

They are bad, they screw up your life and everyone's life around you. I dated a recovering heroine addict many years ago. It was horrible knowing things he had done for drugs and the people he had hurt. I still pray for him and I haven't spoken to him in about 15 years.

Learn from what you've personally experienced. Prison, jail, lockdown, I don't see any drug anywhere with a "get out of jail free " card that comes with them.

Ok, personally, if your parents do it, you are being endangered. They are putting you in danger because of their impared judgement when they are high, and I think you would be helping them if you would tell a trusted adult like a guidance councelor, teacher or clergyperson.

Drugs have always frightened me because I have never wanted to have my judgement impared or not be in control of my actions, like people are when they are drunk or high.
