My husband has been in Korea (Air Force) since Sept 07. We have been married for seven years and he calls me the weekend before Thanksgiving to say he has never loved me, but got married too young and felt obligated to marry me. He says I have changed. Well, actually I have changed, for the better. Who would want to stay the same person forever? I have loved him with all my heart, giving to him what he needed (or so I thought). He has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan too at eight month stints each and is now dealing with a bit of PTSD. As far as I know we have both been 100% faithful. I have asked him if there is anyone else in Korea and he said no, but that there are some "attractive" girls over there that he looks at. (Hearing this pierced my heart!) Anyway, he has shut off emotionally, is gone physically, and when I ask to talk to him (once a week) he says, "what do you need to talk about?" I mean, What the heck? What happened? Please- give me some answers.

Suppose you're in a situation that you're unhappy in and thinking about making changes in your life. When making major decisions in your life whether it being getting married, divorced, dropping out of college, big financial decision, etc. If your family and friends are against or for your decisions does their views have an impact on your final decision?

Are there really men out there who will never stray? Never hit? Never curse or yell? Are there really men out there who can hold down a job? Be your rock, your shoulder to cry on? Be a good role model for your children? Or deep down are all men the same? Where are the men who would kiss the back of your neck while you cook dinner or wrap their arms around your waist while you wash dishes, someone who opens the door for you or pulls out your chair? Someone who understands you come with an already made family and lots of baggage? Is there such a man who could love with everything that makes him who he is and accept the love you give to him? I'm going through a divorce (I'm not man bashing) but I'm curious about this because I don't want to find someone who is exactly what I finally got away from.

me and my boyfriends wedding is either in 2010 or 2011. i dont have a job right now and wont be out of college till 2009. what would you suggest we do because once we set the date we have to start making plans and if i am out of college in 2009 then june 21st 2010 will be our wedding date. we want a 100 person wedding. i want a ball gown white wedding gown, with 6-7 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor who will all wear identicle dresses, i want a 4-5 layer cake with different frostings and good food. if by 2009 we dont have enough money should we start thinking about a loan or a credit card????

we've had a number of arguments in the past. But he's always realised his faults, and made sure to mend things.since 3 months he has so much animosity within himself for me. He is verbally, emotionally&physically abusive, shows no remorse or guilt. He continues to be abusive time& again. there is a lot of stubborness in his attitude & even if i try to make him see how he is hurting me he denies it& insists he is not wrong in any way.Any little or meaningless thingagainst his will makes him spark & he'll use tht as an excuse to bring up past issues, uptill now i have been arguing back or trying to reason with him but it only leads us to go onto the vicious circle of arguing. at the same time he will buy me gifts from time to time and expects this way things to get normal. i dont understand this attitude. i like to keep distant from him, which makes him more angry & he says u r mentally torturing me so tht i shud leave u.i dont understand wt i cud do to make him realise his actions

I was drinking at a bar and was really tired and intoxicated, and I slipped and called my boyfriends best friends wife a fat miserable *****, and I said it to her sister... I'm trying to figure out what I can spend on the reception for our wedding. Ideally, I would like to have between 140-150 guests. I'm interesting in having a traditional dinner, preferably sit down (but I would consider an elegant buffet if cheaper) I would also like to have open bar in this price.

Most reception sites in my area include the cost of the bar and food in a per person price. We live in a high cost of living area. The cheapest plates I've seen start around $70 and work up from there.

We are contributing 12K to the wedding and both set of parents are giving about 3K (give or take) So, we have an 18K budget.

How much should we set aside just for our reception. My top prioprity is feeding my guests well.
