ok so i think he is completely un aware that im a chick, no kidding we have been best friends for years and now im starting to have feeling so i have been noticing how he treats me and im pretty sure i'll always be one of the guys....i know he is not gay cause, since im "one of the guys", I hear him talk about girls all the time. and im the one who hears about all of his girlfriends (totally sucks now) any way how do i get him to notice me? im not trying to be full of myself or anything but im really kinda cute i guess at least thats what most guys say about me...we have even seen eachother naked (changing in the car) and still nothing! help please

we are in our mid 20's
maybe im not his type but i look like all the girls he has ever dated im 5'6 ish dark hair, dark skin, green eyes, not super thin but not fat hes my best friend so he likse my personality right? im so confused

guys dont understand much unless you explain it in logical terms. guys have there way or talking and girls have there way and then there is in between where we both understand
put it there so he understands
be like " ok, we have been friends for ever and i love it, but i also love you and all you do is treat me like one of the guys, and i wanna feel like a girl around you."

So ask him if he has seen "How I met your mother" and what he thinks of the two main characters relationship. They are friends and yet they (sometimes) date. So ask him why he does not appear to consider you a contender for his more intimate affections? I've had this problem - being scared to lose a best friend, so I don't make a move bc it could ruin what we do have, so I'd settle for just being friends and not taking the chance. Quit trying to get him to notice you're a girl - which he knows - and tell him you want to go on a date with him (you could be subtle or obvious - however you are). Sometimes it just can't stay the way it is, but you have to be ready to deal with the possible outcomes.
